5 Cool Outfits & The Daily Accessory That Works With All Of Them
The brand is formalising this long-standing relationship, cementing its place as a cultural force by powering designers and cultural events across the globe, from New York to Milan. Through new platforms and partnerships, Starbucks is championing the next generation of creative talent, making its presence felt on the industry’s most important stages. This synergy is embodied by SheerLuxe’s own Lucia Hawley, for whom a Starbucks run is an essential part of the daily routine. Here, she pairs her go-to orders with her looks for the week, proving the right coffee can be the perfect finishing touch to any outfit.
MONDAY
Monday felt like one of those quintessential London days – cool and crisp. I leaned into layers that felt chic but practical: an all-white base (because nothing beats a fresh white tee) styled under my new trench. To match the mood, I grabbed a Caffè Americano from Starbucks on my way in – the perfect companion for a busy day of fashion meetings and shoots.
TUESDAY
Tuesday was slightly quieter than usual, so I opted for a pared-back look that still felt chic – this suede tan jacket from Massimo Dutti did all the hard work for me. An Iced Brown Sugar Oat Shaken Espresso was exactly what I needed for a morning spent collating product edits and pulling together the season’s key trends for an on-site piece.
WEDNESDAY
Wednesday was a full-on day of shoots and filming for SheerLuxe, so the popular Iced Matcha Latte was needed in-between takes. I needed an outfit that felt both polished and wearable, and introduced a hit of spring colour with this buttery yellow bomber from Mint Velvet, styled with a new Ganni clutch.
THURSDAY
A day that started in the gym called for something to keep me going through a busy morning of press viewings and off-site meetings, so I was excited to try the new Starbucks® Iced Caramel Protein Latte. It’s a mix of their signature espresso and sugar-free caramel syrup, topped with a new protein cold foam that has a super smooth, velvety finish which tasted so good! A suede blazer and tailored trousers carried me through the rest of the day in style.
FRIDAY
The final stretch. A Starbucks® Iced Ube Vanilla Velvet Matcha Latte was what I needed to see me through the last day of the week – it brings smooth vanilla and nutty notes together with matcha for a vibrant, purple-hued twist on a classic. There’s nothing quite like it to get you going in the morning. Naturally, my fashion mood felt slightly more off-duty – I opted for a look that prioritised comfort but still felt polished. I ended the day how I started it: with another trip to Starbucks before heading to a fashion show and dinner.
Coffee and couture are both rituals of craft, creativity and connection, expressions of identity that thrive on detail and artistry. As Starbucks steps forward as an active participant in the fashion industry, the brand is increasingly showing up in spaces and places that resonate with editors, designers and creatives.
From fuelling creative talent at New York and Milan Fashion Weeks to coffeehouses continuing to serve as unofficial creative studios, Starbucks has always had a seat at fashion's table. From the immersive House of Coffee in Milan, where style and coffee converged in one of Fashion Week’s most talked-about spaces, to becoming the official coffee sponsor of The Devil Wears Prada: The Musical in the UK, which launched last month with an event celebrating pre-owned designer fashion in partnership with THE CIRKEL, the brand is quietly (and stylishly) establishing a distinctive presence within the fashion world.
Now, through a global collaboration with 20th Century Studios’ and “The Devil Wears Prada 2", Starbucks has curated a lineup of four beverages inspired by the film’s iconic characters and crafted to bring cinematic flare to the daily coffee ritual. The limited-edition menu is now in UK stores until 15th May. Find out more here about the collaboration.
Together, these moments celebrate a powerful truth: for many in the fashion world, the creative process doesn’t just start with an idea, it starts with a coffee in hand.
