A Fashion Insider Shares Her Favourite Hotels & Holiday Looks
I thought it would be impossible to ever have a favourite hotel but Amanjena is definitely up there. The peachy terracotta hues drowned in golden light is a sight I could never tire of – I found myself taking the same photos every single day because I just couldn't get over how beautiful it was. I love how it feels modern and luxe yet still traditional and authentic at the same time. Our room was more like an apartment, complete with a private pool, outdoor dining area and surrounded by lush greenery. It felt intimate, private and incredibly peaceful – the perfect spot for a getaway for two.

Nestled in the charming town of Lourmarin, Le Galinier is to me the French version of the cottage in The Holiday – albeit not quite as humble in size. Set in stunning Provençal grounds complete with a pool, several ponds and a pétanque court, you can explore by bike or on foot, with the village of Lourmarin right on the doorstep offering traditional bistros, cafés, boutiques and artists' studios. With only around ten rooms, it never feels overcrowded, and in high season local chefs are on hand to provide lunches, dinners and cater private events.

Anassa stole my heart the first time I visited with friends and I'm already planning to go back with my family. It's one of those places that feels like a home away from home – albeit one that happens to be right on the beach. The architecture is stunning and the sunsets even more so. Our room had a private terrace with the most beautiful views, and the hotel also offers private villas, perfect for a more intimate escape or special occasion.

I first came here for work in 2025 and have been desperate to return ever since. My first taste of Thailand, this hotel struck the perfect balance between luxury and authenticity. Situated on rice paddies and surrounded by mountains, it has been developed in harmony with its natural surroundings – the lush greenery and incredible scents are unlike anything I've ever experienced. The rooms feel beautifully traditional, with dark wood that gives them the feel of an elevated treehouse.

Alicudi was one of those moments I felt genuinely grateful for the places my work takes me – unlike anywhere I have ever been. One of the most remote of the Aeolian Islands, there are no cars, no roads and no crowds. Accessible only by boat and an uphill climb on foot, it's not for everyone but that's entirely the point. The island has one shop, receiving fresh deliveries each day, so everything you cook depends on what has arrived that morning. We stayed in a private property that was as rustic as you can imagine – but with one of the most incredible views you will ever see.
