While I’m fully committed to nesting as we get further into autumn, I still want to feel like I’ve made an effort. My trick is to add easy but impactful pieces, clever layers and accessories that make a simple outfit feel far more considered. These glasses would make even the most basic jeans-and-knit combination instantly cooler, while the leopard-print bag is a purchase I absolutely didn’t need but couldn’t resist. I also love the idea of throwing a maroon knit over your shoulders. Elsewhere, the Massimo Dutti heels are styled on site with a blue shirt and leather skirt – a combination I’m really liking. I don’t often dress this femininely but for an outfit like that, I’d happily make an exception.

I love this teddy jacket by Aligne. The matching scarf is such a nice addition. I’ve also added this plaid shirt from ASOS to my list and these cosy mules from Free People. Oh, and these black ankle boots from Massimo Dutti are the perfect everyday shoe. This Tove top caught my eye too – it’s so beautiful – and this Saint Laurent pouch would be perfect for evenings out.

The Loewe Whisker bag is top of my wish list right now – I love the shape and this red will add a serious hit of colour to my autumn wardrobe. I’m a sucker for a trench with a twist and this Magda Butrym version feels dramatic in the best way. A new pair of jeans is one of the easiest ways to refresh your wardrobe, and I love the exaggerated silhouette of these Topshop ones. Joseph is having a real moment right now and I can’t stop thinking about these yellow snakeskin boots – they’re such a statement. Finally, Mango does some of the best affordable leather on the high street and a slouchy black style like this is a wardrobe must-have.

Autumn/winter is my favourite fashion season. I always find myself returning to the same trends – fringing, animal print and statement knitwear – but I’m always looking for fresh updates. De Savary’s outerwear is top of my wish list this season, especially this statement Dalmatian coat, while Soft Goat knitwear is a timeless investment; I have my eye on this argyle number. Scoop-neck knits are going to be everywhere and this pink ARKET number is seriously soft. Finally, I’m always on the lookout for a new bag and the latest launch from Freja NYC is just so good.
