I always love fringe at this time of year, hence why this GAP cardigan is already in my basket. This Mint Velvet clutch feels like such a versatile piece – the croc design is modern and cool – and Topshop is so good right now. This jacket is perfect for both day and night. For something a little different, I love this Zara shirt with the contrasting collar and cuffs and, finally, this Sézane jumper is such a good shape.

I’m very much in my lace era and I love the tone of this dress. The brown leather gloves would look incredible with it – so extra – and they’d also be perfect over the sleeves of a coat. I’m a firm believer that you can never have too many blazers and I’m missing a burgundy one from my collection. These leopard-print heels are the ultimate party shoes; I love the all-over print and super-thin heel. Even though it’s starting to rain now, this suede bomber has still caught my eye. Finally, an easy-to-wear bag is always necessary – and this one would be a great addition to my wardrobe.

Sometimes, it’s the smaller details that make the biggest difference. Faux-fur accessories are an easy way to switch things up and a scarf or snood will add a little drama to any jacket or coat. There are lots of faux-fur jackets on the high street right now and this one from Reserved looks so premium. My advice is to size up so you can comfortably layer it over knitwear. I’ve also spotted a lot of round-toe shoes – they feel really fresh and are a nice alternative to the pointed styles we’ve been wearing for the last few seasons.

This Zara faux-fur teddy coat looks so much more expensive than it is – plus, River Island’s jacquard trousers are part of a matching set that would make such a chic evening look. Finally, Massimo Dutti is a little bit more of an investment but it’s always worth it. I know this draped scarf blouse will be a wardrobe staple.

This lace Zara top is the easiest way to dress up jeans for a night out. I also love a fun shoe and these Jo Mercer heels have a Chanel-style look to them. This Tony Bianco bag finishes everything off – the mock croc gives it a designer feel. Outerwear is also front of mind right now and this M&S collared jacket is so smart.
