The Shoes
I’m thrilled that white shoes are back and no one does a pair of heels quite like Saint Laurent. The height, the toe, the colour… they’re spot on.
The Brand
Rotate has long been a go-to for event dressing. It sits just above the high street in terms of price but still feels accessible – and you’re far less likely to arrive wearing the same thing as everyone else. This summer, the collection feels especially strong. The pastel colourways are spot on and I’m obsessed with the scarf-detail mini. Now I just need an excuse to wear it.
The Jacket
Funnel necks are still everywhere but it’s the satin finish on this one from Reformation that has really caught my eye. It feels like a fresh, more elevated take on the trend and is the kind of piece that instantly pulls a look together.
The Accessory
Sunglasses have always been my weakness. They’re the kind of finishing touch that can completely transform a look. While the high street has some seriously strong options, I do think there’s a case for investing in a standout pair you’ll reach for on repeat.
The Detail
As a rule, I’m pretty simple when it comes to my clothing – no statement colours or prints. But I do like to add texture to keep things feeling modern. Enter fringing. It adds just the right amount of movement and interest, elevating even the most minimal of looks without ever feeling overdone.
The Print
Having said I’m not one for print, I do love it in accessories. It’s an easy way to tap into a trend or add a point of interest without committing too heavily. Khaite has really led the way with zebra this season but the high street has some great alternatives. I’m currently obsessed with this Topshop bag.
The Staple
Agolde’s Low Curve style in a dark wash has been my most-worn jeans this year. Now we’re heading into spring, I have my eye on the lighter washes. In terms of cost per wear, they’ve paid for themselves – which makes a new-season update feel entirely justified.
The White Shirt
A white shirt is a forever staple, but this one feels like a modern refresh. The bib detail and higher neckline elevate it, giving it a sharper, more considered finish.
The Jewellery
Cord necklaces aren’t going anywhere. Much like sunglasses, I love how one simple accessory can add instant interest. The high street is full of options right now, making them an easy, affordable way to elevate your everyday staples without spending a fortune.
The Co-Ord
I’m really into the sports-luxe trend this season but it can be tricky to pull off without it skewing too youthful. That’s where this set comes in. The colour is soft and feminine, but it also gives it a more polished, grown-up edge.
