Everything Sapna Is Loving Right Now

The Trend
Funnel necks aren’t going anywhere but right now, I’m drawn to silk iterations that feel that bit more ‘fashion’. I’ve got a Nanushka one on the way and can already see it with tailored trousers or contrasted with a sheer skirt.
The Suit
A good suit will always be the foundation of my workwear wardrobe and this relaxed, softly striped high-street find feels like the perfect spring update. The lighter colourway feels fresh, while the cut means works with knits, tees or a crisp shirt.
The Jacket
I’m a Wales Bonner girl at heart and will always lean into a bit of sports luxe. A jacket like this works with loose cords and a cap on a Sunday, but I’d just as easily layer it under a blazer with tailored trousers come Monday.
The Top
I’ve always struggled to find good going-out tops but Arakii has become a go-to. Texture like this does all the hard work for you – just add black silk trousers and heels.
The Shows
This season, Erdem’s show was a standout. The romantic heritage aesthetic was still there but the bold colours, feathers and exaggerated volume made it a fitting celebration for the brand’s 20th anniversary. I’ve also not stopped going on about Louise Trotter’s most recent Bottega Veneta show. It was everything I loved from her last collection and more – exaggerated but wearable, colourful but chic.
The Print
Everyone is still loving leopard and I’m fully on board. Rather than going head-to-toe, I prefer using an animal-print accessory to lift simpler looks.
The Trousers
This shape and print immediately caught my eye. I love the idea of wearing them with the matching top for impact but they’d work just as well with a cream blazer or leather jacket.
The Bags
This cobalt blue suede Zara bag immediately called my name – the shape and size are spot on, especially when styled with a pale trench and tinted sunglasses. At the other end of the spectrum, an oversized Gucci tote is firmly in my work-bag wish list.
The Silhouette
I’m fully in my bridal era and I’ve been deep in the inspo phase. Peplum silhouettes keep cropping up. Brands like SEPT New York, Own Studio, The Fall Bride and The Bride have really nailed it with this shape; it feels romantic but still modern. Special mention to this mega piece Danielle Copperman wore to the British Fashion Awards from SEPT New York.
The Set
The moment I saw this Tommy Jeans set, it was a yes. It has that relaxed, throw-it-on ease but the darker denim and clean cut make it office-appropriate – especially with a pointed boot or loafers.
Oversized Denim Chore Jacket, £110
Charlie Knee Panel Loose Jeans, £95
The Trainers
I’ve always loved silver – especially when it comes to footwear – and the new wave of metallic trainers feels so right. As someone who subscribes to the ‘wrong shoe’ theory, I’d pair them with sharp tailoring to nail that high-low contrast.
The Brand
I might be late to this brand but UMA WANG has been living rent-free on my Pinterest for months. The silhouettes, the layering, the drama of it all – I’m constantly referencing it in my own looks.
The Blazer
Maebe is seriously impressing me and this hourglass blazer is ideal for those desk-to-dinner days. It’s structured enough to mean business but the shape gives it that fashion edge that works just as well after hours.
The Jeans
I’ve been eyeing up these JW Anderson jeans for so long. They’ve got that undone, cargo-inspired feel but still look polished, and the wash makes them endlessly versatile – just add a blazer now or chunky knits later in the year.
The Jewellery
My daily uniform is usually tailored trousers, a great knit and a statement earring. Right now, I’m gravitating towards ribbed gold styles – bold enough to finish a look but still wearable for daytime.
The Layer
When an outfit feels flat, a stripe is often the answer. A coloured version layered under blazers and jackets will let just enough of the tone peek through to add interest without overpowering the entire look.
The Coatigan
Outerwear is a weakness of mine and this piece blurs the line between coat and cardigan. I’d wear it inside with a simple tee and white jeans – still nicely pulled together for the office.
