This year, my wish list is full of pieces that feel special but will still work hard in my wardrobe. I’ve had the Anine Bing green bomber on my radar for years – it’s the kind of forever layer you reach for every winter. I’m also drawn to this red YSL pouch that would add instant attitude and a pair of black Prada kitten heels that will transition well from day to night. They’re all investment buys I know will deliver good cost per wear. I love a new pair of sunglasses too – I wear them all year round and find the right shape instantly refreshes everything.

Accessories are always top of my wish list at this time of year – they’re the pieces that feel indulgent yet genuinely useful. A beautifully made bag like the Bottega clutch or Saint Laurent top-handle has that timeless, quietly luxurious feel, so I know I’d come back to it for years. The gold card holder adds a fresh pop to a classic silhouette and you can’t go wrong with earrings – I love the sculptural shape of this Bottega pair. Then there are the treats you rarely buy yourself but always love to receive, like a rich, moody fragrance or a glossy fashion book for your coffee table.

My wish list is leaning decidedly luxe and there are a few standout pieces I can’t stop thinking about. Top of the list is the suede Bottega Andiamo bag – the colour is so distinctive, and it would make the ultimate chic work companion. I’m also obsessed with this Prada argyle cardigan; it feels like the perfect preppy layer, especially with tailored trousers. I’ve always relied on the high street for heels but I’m seriously considering investing in a special pair and these Gucci pumps are calling my name. The Saint Laurent earrings also keep catching my eye – cool, versatile and ideal as event season approaches. Lastly, I’m on the hunt for some leather trousers. A burgundy pair would add some subtle edge to my mostly neutral wardrobe.

Bags are my weakness and this chocolate-brown Prada east-west number has been living rent-free in my mind. The Christian Louboutin tote is equally tempting. For clothing, Ganni’s high-shine blazer is at the top of my list – a statement piece that makes even the simplest outfit look more considered.
