I would go as far as to say over half of my wardrobe is made up of resortwear. Versatile and mood-boosting, it’s always been my favourite way to dress. There’s something about easy silhouettes, breathable fabrics and standout prints that just works, whether I’m actually heading somewhere warm or simply channelling that mindset at home. Brands like SIR, Alémais and Same always deliver throw-on pieces that still feel considered, while Cult Gaia and Rat & Boa are my go-tos when I want something a little more elevated. Now the season is fully upon us, I’m leaning in more than ever to floaty maxi dresses, relaxed co-ords and chic cover-ups that can take me from day to night with minimal effort.

Donde Esteban

I’ve just discovered Donde Esteban and I’m obsessed. It’s everything I want from resortwear: effortless, elevated and quietly striking. The colours and prints are instant mood-lifters – pure escapism in wardrobe form. It's full of fluid silk maxis for balmy evenings and printed co-ords that work just as well back in the city. But it’s the ease that really sells it. These are pieces that feel considered but never overworked – throw-on-and-go dressing that still looks impeccably polished.

Alémais

Alémais is one of those brands that brings a sense of joy to getting dressed. Their bold use of colour and artistic prints feels expressive without being overwhelming. There’s a playful, almost handcrafted quality to their pieces. Whether it’s a statement dress or a matching set, everything feels considered yet relaxed, capturing that resort feel. This is the kind of brand that adds personality to a wardrobe without sacrificing polish.

SIR.

SIR. is one of those Australian brands I always come back to, if only for their use of colour. I love how they keep things refined but still play with rich, seasonal tones and subtle prints that add interest without overwhelming the look.

Rat & Boa

I’ve come to rely on Rat & Boa for standout holiday pieces – their love of colour and print really sets them apart. There’s a boldness to the designs that still feels wearable, with fluid silhouettes and statement patterns that instantly elevate even the simplest look. I’m a big fan of the new collection, which introduces more versatile daywear pieces that still carry that signature sense of drama.

Cala De La Cruz

Cala de la Cruz was such a great brand discovery for me a few years ago, and it’s one I keep coming back to. The quality across the pieces is genuinely outstanding, especially in the way the fabrics feel and hold their shape. I’m particularly drawn to their linen dresses and skirt co-ords – they strike that perfect balance between structure and ease. There’s also a real sense of craftsmanship and attention to detail that comes through in every piece.

Cult Gaia

You know that one holiday dress you can’t wait to wear? For me, it’s almost always from Cult Gaia. The way they approach design with such a sculptural sensibility makes every piece feel artistic and truly special. There’s a real emphasis on form, texture and materiality, which gives each piece a strong visual identity without ever feeling overdone. It’s that balance of impact and refinement that makes their pieces so memorable – for me, they deliver the perfect holiday wardrobe every time.
