I’m always focused on versatile pieces with a bit of polished edge. This powder pink ruched-sleeve top from ARKET is an easy update – it’s giving designer vibes at an affordable price. CLEA has become one of my new favourite brands and this chic white dress nails that clean, effortless summer look I always come back to. Finally, the narrow-frame Gucci shades I’ve been stalking all season just went into the sale – add this cool straw hat from & Other Stories, and you’ve nailed your beach look.

The sales have some amazing pieces right now – highlights for me include this brown Faithfull swimsuit and this Tove bandeau top. Savette bags are an investment purchase, so the sales are the perfect time to pick one up for a little less. Other accessories that have caught my eye include these neutral heels and this Déhanche belt.

When shopping the sales, I stay focused on timeless staples from my favourite designer brands rather than being swayed by big discounts. TOTEME’s wide-leg, light-wash jeans are a year-round essential. I love collarless blazers too  – this one from Loulou Studio feels effortlessly chic.  A statement belt, like this one from Khaite, would also be a smart investment.

I'm always looking for a bargain during the sales – especially with the pieces I've had my eye on all season. That said, any purchases need to easily slot into my wardrobe and work well with what I already own. It will come as no surprise to hear I wanted to inject more colour into my wardrobe. Christopher John Rodgers is one of my favourite designers – this striped oversized shirt can be styled in so many different ways. I also have a thing for pistachio green so the Róhe co-ord and Jacquemus bag instantly caught my eye. The tailored shorts from & Other Stories and strappy sandals are the perfect shade of butter yellow. I love the cut of the red dress from A.W.A.K.E. Mode too – the added layers give great depth. Finally, H&M always comes through with linen shorts that are perfect for holiday and I know I'll be wearing the Neous mules on repeat well into the autumn.

The sale is the best time to pick up those statement-making pieces for less. This twist detail green dress is a chic alternative to your usual occasion wear – just team it with these motif shell earrings for a playful take that still feels grown-up. For a more directional spin on event dressing, pair this cut-out minidress with red pointed heels – and finally, these oversized sunglasses will complete the look.
