My shopping basket is currently full of instant pick-me-ups – with jewel-toned earrings  and the perfect leather bomber jacket at the top of my wish list. I can’t get enough of the shape and cut of Zara’s wide-leg trousers; I always say go big or go home. I’ve never met a suit I didn’t love but this burgundy COS  suit, with its sharp belted detail, immediately caught my eye. Long leather gloves  are still a brilliant investment, I love the pop they’ll add to any look.

I have been on the hunt for some cord trousers and I love this pair from Agolde – they would be so versatile. Massimo Dutti is my favourite high-street brand so, naturally, I always have my eye on a few pieces. I’m loving brown right now and this quilted jacket  would be such a weekend staple for me – plus, these boots  look amazingly warm. When it comes to accessories, I want an everyday belt and I love this classic style from TOTEME. Finally, this Stylein scarf is so chic.

I’m starting to see some real newness on the high street. Zara, in particular, is looking incredibly strong, especially for outerwear. I love the silhouette of this coat – the pale blue shade feels so fresh and I’m seeing it everywhere, so I’m confident it will be a key spring trend. Mango’s latest leather drop is also worth a mention – this deep green is such a chic choice and the mock-croc finish gives it a far more expensive feel. Winter cream is another trend I’m obsessed with and this flowing cream set  from Massimo Dutti is such a winner. Layer a bomber over the top and finish the look with burgundy knee-high boots.

We’re deep into 'the coat-is-the-outfit' season – so I’m firmly in the market for mega outerwear. This Samsøe Samsøe style is such a standout – I’d wear it collar up with wide-leg tailored trousers and a pair of cool specs. Elsewhere, this de Savary London  piece is seriously chic. I’m also always up for a statement accessory – and leopard print isn’t going anywhere.

There's a zebra-print Alaïa coat with a sculptural funnel neck in my basket – it's the kind of statement piece that does all the talking. I’m imagining it layered over something simple, offset with black  thigh-high boots from Amina Muaddi for a clean, confident edge. I'm also on the hunt for a new bag that will carry through to spring and this butter-yellow quilted Saint Laurent number adds a soft hint of colour and that effortless, polished finish I'm always looking for.
