The Designer Bag

I’m rarely a fan of a very structured tote bag shape as it often feels too corporate but the belted detail of Prada’s Dada bag appeals to my edgier side. It comes in a few colours but I particularly love it in this soft beige.

The Cool Collab

Full of slouchy tailoring, elevated loungewear and collegiate-inspired accessories, Alex Eagle’s collaboration with J.Crew is the perfect marriage between two preppy-cool brands. The green slogan tee is top of my wish list.

The Outfit Combo

Recently, I’ve found myself reaching for sweatshirts and shirts. There’s something about the combination of a smart shirt and casual jumper that really works and feels a bit cooler than styling a button down with a knit. Keep your shirt untucked and make sure your shirt cuffs are poking out of your sweater sleeves.

The Eveningwear Collection

The Own Studio is known for its bridalwear but its eveningwear is also worth checking out. The label’s latest offering spans a capsule collection of ultra-cool event dresses, complete with 80s-inspired ruffles and exaggerated silhouettes.

The Cape Coat

I’m on the hunt for the perfect cape coat. The silhouette feels super elegant and adds a bit of interest to what could otherwise be a basic piece in your wardrobe.

The Must-Have Accessory

I really believe in the power of a good belt and its ability to transform an outfit, so if you’ve not already invested in one, now’s the time. Déhanche has launched a ‘Revenge’ style to rival the viral Khaite belt and the ones from my collection with Daisy London are pretty cool too.

The High-End Name

Worn by the likes of Hailey Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter and Taylor Swift, Wiederhoeft’s corseted designs nod to pin-up era dressing, albeit modernised with belt details, shimmering fabrics and statement embellishments. The pieces don’t come cheap but I one day hope to find an occasion special enough to wear something from the collection.

The Modern Tuxedo

Few things are chicer than a well-fitting tux but not all are created equal.  The one from With Nothing Underneath feels modern and fresh despite the vintage-inspired, cropped length blazer. Perfect for party season and beyond.

The Micro Trend

Not something I expected to fall for this season but long leather gloves officially have my attention. I love them styled with a chunky knit with the sleeves rolled up.

The Small Brand

I have to shout out my friend Hollie Mercedes’ brand as she’s absolutely killing it when it comes to knitwear and accessories. Clòimh, meaning ‘wool’ in Gaelic, makes cutesy bonnets, oversized scarves and chunky knitted vests with the goal of championing the rich heritage of Scottish wool. All the pieces are made by specialist knitwear manufacturers in Scotland and the Netherlands, where Hollie splits her time.
