SL Meets Ropes of Holland

YouTuber, blogger and physiotherapist, it’s fair to say Lindsey Holland has her fingers in lots of pies. Instagramming under her Ropes of Holland pseudonym, her slick aesthetic, effortless beauty look and approachable manner make her a favourite of brands and followers alike. Here’s everything you need to know about the blogger you should be following…

My personal style is Scandi-Casual… I love feeling comfortable, and I love being to throw things on that look a little bit effortless.

I live in Levi's… And a white t-shirt. It's failsafe, and something everyone has in their wardrobes. Throw on with trainers, or with a heel if you're going for a drink.

At the top of my wish list… Is the Celine black clasp bag in black.

For AW18, I’ve got my eye on high leg boots… Mango has an incredible white pair that I've already earmarked.

I save on underwear… Weekday do the best purse-friendly sets. I choose to splurge on bags and jackets.

For a big meeting, I'll always wear jeans… Team with a shirt, longline blazer and a mid-height heel – you can’t go wrong.

My favourite purchase ever… I think it'll have to be my Loewe Puzzle bag. It may have been my biggest extravagance, but there’s nothing I can't wear it with. It means Loewe is by default my most worn designer.

Emin & Paul is a clothing brand you should have on your radar… They started as a pop up in Shoreditch and now have a website – they're very cool and eclectic. Also, Roxanne First Fine Jewellery, uses non-conflict, ethically-sourced diamonds.

My best wardrobe hack is… A roll neck to transition from summer to autumn. I love the look under a summer blouse.

My top style tips for autumn… Re-wear things from last season! Buy vintage and second-hand garments from somewhere like The Resolution Store. It launches in September and features the wardrobes of women such as Lucy Williams, Camille Charrière, Laura Jackson and myself. And make sure you've got an amazing heavy leather biker jacket to throw on over your favourite knitwear.

When it comes to my ultimate style icon… I need to say my nana, Edna, because she's so chic and polished all the time - she inspires me to be less scruffy! But otherwise, I love a laidback look, so I think Alexa Chung does that very well.

Vintage Levi jeans are my favourite item of clothing… I've had them patched up a lot…

I would never wear… Cycling shorts! I'll leave it to the Danes.

My ultimate girl crush is… At the moment, Hanna Stefansson. Her style is effortless and such a great mix of vintage and designer – a great Instagram follow.

My fantasy investment piece… Is a Céline shearling coat... Anyone?
