SL’s Fashion Editor’s Picks Of The Month

From high street accessories to lust-worthy new collections, SL’s Fashion Editor Charlotte Collins runs you through this month’s must-have, must-know and must-see fashion…

The Campaign

& Other Stories’ spring collection is one of the best on the high street. The brand has everything from tiered, taffeta styles in pastel shades to cold-shoulder holiday designs, and the new campaign, with its behind-the-scenes, candid feel, perfectly captures the fluid, romantic pieces.

The Designer Piece

Tie-dye meets Isabel Marant – what could be better? I love a mini dress that is covered up bar your legs, and the pretty pastel shade on this denim design shoots it straight to the top of my spring wish list.

The High Street Denim

I’m normally incredibly faithful to Topshop’s denim collection, but I’m willing to make an exception for H&M’s new season styles. The brand’s Mom, Boyfriend and Straight leg designs all come in faded washes, with rips, raw-hems and high waistlines.

The Loungewear Brand

The brainchild of fashion entrepreneur and philanthropist Miroslava Duma, The Pangaia is the loungewear brand with a conscious, crafting the coolest matching pastel hoodies and joggers with environmentally-friendly botanical dyes. T-shirts are created from seaweed fibre, all packaging is get the idea.

The Pyjamas

I’ve long been obsessed with Nelly Diamond’s prairie-inspired label, Hill House Home. But this season it’s not their frill-trimmed, piped bedding I’m after, but their new collection of pretty night dresses and sleepwear – consider it a more affordable version of Sleeper The Label, and well worth the customs fees.

The Swimwear Brand

Colombian label Maygel Coronel is reinventing swimwear, designing suits and bikinis with all the tropes of amazing ready-to-wear – think puff sleeves, one-shoulder styles and even long-sleeve designs. Cool, innovative and show-stopping… I’m obsessed.

The Trend

Glasses chains are the accessory of the summer. Look to Missoma, MATCHESFASHION and new brand Talis Chains for a fun way to elevate your jewellery look.
