The Best Soup Makers Available

It’s hard to beat a hearty soup at this time of year. And while homemade is invariably best, if time is at a premium, a soup maker definitely makes life easier. Keen to find the right model? Here are the most important features to look for and the machines we rate.

The Key Features To Look For…

The Jug: If this is glass or plastic, you’ll be able to see what’s going on during the cooking process.

Size: Some soup makers and blenders can only make one portion so check the jug size – generally a single portion is around 400ml.

Cooking Time: Quick doesn’t always mean better. For all ingredients to cook through properly, slow and steady wins the race.

Cleaning Programme: Some soup makers have one of these in-built to make cleaning the inside of the jug that much easier.
