This Cult Cookware Brand Is Having A Major Summer Sale

Whether you’re upgrading tired non-stick pans or finally investing in cookware that actually makes cooking easier, HexClad is one we’ve had on our radar for a while – so we decided to put it to the test. Loved by chefs, home cooks and even Gordon Ramsay, the brand has built a loyal following thanks to its hybrid technology, which combines the best bits of stainless steel, cast iron and non-stick in one simple pan. Better still, its summer sale is now live, with up to 40% off selected pieces until 15th June.

The Difference

So, what actually sets HexClad apart in practice? We tried a selection of the range in the SL kitchen, and the difference is immediately obvious in the build. At the heart of every piece is the brand’s patented hybrid construction: laser-etched stainless-steel peaks create a proper searing surface, while the non-stick valleys in between make everyday cooking and clean-up noticeably easier than traditional stainless steel.

In use, that translates into a pan that behaves somewhere between professional-grade stainless steel and modern non-stick. We found it particularly effective for high-heat cooking – think searing chicken or salmon – where you want colour and caramelisation without everything sticking to the base.

Another standout is the practicality. These pans are genuinely low-maintenance compared to what you might expect from something that performs at this level: they’re dishwasher-safe, oven-safe up to 480°C and metal-utensil safe, which means you don’t need to treat them with kid gloves in the way you do with most non-stick cookware. The tri-ply construction also delivered impressively even heat in our testing, with no obvious hot spots across the surface.

The Standouts

One of the pieces we tested was the 30cm Hybrid Frying Pan, and it quickly became the most reached-for pan in the set. It’s roomy enough for batch-cooking or entertaining, but still felt manageable for everyday use – the kind of thing you’d keep on the hob rather than packed away.

For a full kitchen refresh, the 13-Piece Cookware Set gives you the complete experience, and we found the consistency across pans and lids particularly satisfying – everything feels designed to work together rather than as standalone pieces.

If you’re after something more streamlined, the Pots & Pans Set is a strong entry point. It covers the everyday essentials without overwhelming your cupboards, and in testing, it handled everything from quick sauces to simple midweek dinners with ease.

We also tested the brand’s TerraBond ceramic non-stick coating, which is completely PFAS-free. While nothing replaces proper care and a bit of technique, we found it noticeably reliable for everyday cooking, and the durability feels like a step up from standard supermarket non-stick.

With up to 40% off during the summer sale, it’s a rare opportunity to try a professional-feeling setup at a more accessible price point.
