BODY
Becky’s Favourites
Heartwarmer Body Gua Sha Tool, £88 | Joonbyrd
“When is a body gua sha tool different from all the others? When it’s the size of a small ball and can cover a large surface area in a single sweep. I’ve found this one from Joonbyrd is so easy to work with, meaning you can get into a good, rhythmic movement without any slip as you glide it over your skin. Not only does it relieve tension, but it also boosts circulation and blood flow – just remember to work in upward and outward motions.”
Cocoa Butter Formula Exfoliating Body Lotion, £6.99 | Palmer's
“I’m always amazed at how affordable this is. Few lotions have improved my bumpy skin and flaky shins better than this, thanks to exfoliating lactic acid, which effectively dissolves dead cells. You’d think it would then irritate, but it completely coats my skin in moisture with added cocoa butter and coconut oil. It doesn’t have a satisfying scent as such, but what it lacks there it certainly makes up for in skin-smoothing results. A little is nice over rough, cracked heels too.”

Tea To Tan Face & Body, £22 | By Terry
“If you love looking bronzed but sometimes don’t have the energy to do your entire fake tan routine, By Terry’s clever Tea To Tan spray is ideal for a last-minute top-up. It doesn’t contain tanning agents, so there’s no unpleasant musty smell but the wash-off formula still gives the illusion of health, making your skin look freshly sun-kissed. I spritz it all over my décolletage, legs and arms, depending on which areas are ‘on show’, and it comes out in such a fine mist that you don’t even need to buff it in with a mitt.”
Golden Sandalwood Natural Oils Mousse To Oil Moisturiser, £9.33 | Sanctuary Spa
“I only have one pre-requisite when it comes to body moisturiser: quick absorption. I like the texture of an oil but can’t bear it when you clamber into your sheets and you can still feel a layer of residue. This formula by Sanctuary Spa gives you the best of both. First, the novelty of a mousse never fails to bring me joy, but it melts away into a lightweight, fragrant oil. It sinks in quickly and leaves my skin feeling silky and supple, without leaving any grease in its wake.”
Sapna's Favourites
The Body Oil, £40 | Nécessaire
“Nécessaire’s cool branding is what got my attention initially but the sensitive skin-saving formulas are so good. This oil is unscented and uncomplicated. I apply it most mornings to refresh my dry skin and it keeps my limbs soft and smooth all day.”
Intensive Care Cocoa Radiant Body Lotion, £5.99 | Vaseline
“Keeping my skin glowy and nourished in the summer – and winter – is something I’ve had to actively train myself to do. Perhaps it's laziness but I love low- or no-faff products that get the job done quickly – which is why this is one of my favourites.
FRAGRANCE
Becky's Favourites
Neroli Portofino Eau De Parfum, £187 | Tom Ford
“I don’t think any other scent conjures up the feel of the Italian coast quite like this. It mixes those large Amalfi lemons with a salty sea breeze and a hint of woodiness. The combination is addictive and an instant mood-booster. I wear this in the day as I find it fresh and clean, but it has enough depth for evening too.”
Cannabis Santal Eau De Parfum, £82 | Fresh
“The 9ml size of this fragrance is perfect for travel. It has a herbal, green quality to it that I could inhale all day long thanks to a combination of cannabis, patchouli and vetiver. Unisex and with a warm, smoky appeal, it’s the one I always reach for on nights out on holiday.”
Orin's Favourites
Celadon Eau De Parfum, £187 | Miller Harris
“Miller Harris’s Cedalon was an unexpected new favourite for me, but I’ve found myself reaching for it heaps this summer. Uplifting and green, it feels reminiscent of walking into a greenhouse and being hit with that sharp, energising tomato leaf. It has a gentle, woody depth to it, but it remains under the surface, the supporting act rather than the main event. At the moment I’m loving it for warm days because it also has a citrusy edge, but I can tell I’ll be wearing it well into autumn.”
Prodigieux Le Parfum, £33.47 (was £47) | Nuxe
“Beauty lovers will likely already know (and love) Nuxe’s iconic does-it-all dry oil. For me, the creamy, slightly nutty, floral scent feels synonymous with bare toes submerged in white sand. Its Eau De Parfum equivalent is spot on, replicating that same holiday-in-a-bottle vibe. Quality, affordable fragrance can be hard to find, but this soft cloud of orange blossom and vanilla is a total winner – and the price justifies liberal spritzing.”
Sapna's Favourites
Eau Rihla Hair Mist, £63 | Diptyque
“Hair perfume is definitely a ‘treat yourself’ kind of product – but if you can invest in one, make it this. Blending spicy pink peppercorn plus the woody notes of cedar, it creates a vibrant accord. Plus, iris, vanilla and saffron are blended together for a subtly sweet twist.”
Sun Eau De Toilette, £31.51 | Nivea
“There’s something so nostalgic about Nivea’s classic scent – and this Sun Eau De Toilette gives it a beachy twist. Formulated as a body spray, it’s a budget friendly travel must-have to spritz on after your shower.”
HAIR
Becky's Favourites
Thickening Shampoo, £37 | RevitaLash
“From the brand that’s proven to stimulate lash and brow regrowth comes this impressive hair duo that’s full of strengthening ingredients, like biotin and protein. I’ve never believed that a shampoo and conditioner alone can help with physical regrowth or lasting volume, but I have been impressed by these products. Immediately post-use, my hair has not only felt fuller, but it looks denser throughout with visible volume. That said, the minute I switch to a different shampoo, I’ve noticed limpness returns. It’s an expensive habit, but one I’m committed to right now for the speedy, gratifying results. I like that both products gently exfoliate the scalp too for overall hair health. One thing to note is you don’t need too much of either as the body-bulking ingredients can make hair greasier within a day or two.”
Mini Hair Styling Wax Stick, £6.50 | Mermade Hair
“I tie my hair up 80% of the time and in doing so, it can often look a little unkempt. This wax stick from Mermade has helped give my ‘updos’ a little more sleekness that immediately makes you look as if you’ve made an effort. Easy to use, you roll it over hair like you would a glue stick and it imparts shine, but also tames any flyaway hairs and holds them in place for hours, without any sticky feel. I’ve nearly used the whole stick, it’s been so useful all summer when I needed a quick hair fix.”
Orin's Favourites
Leave-in Molecular Repair Hair Mask (50ml), £30 | K18 Hair
“About once every four washes I’ve been using K18’s Leave-In Mask – a favourite among the TikTok crowd – to bring my hair back from the brink. No product can really substitute for a regular trim, but this is excellent in its own right. I suffer from dry, straw-like ends thanks to damage caused by heat styling, and yet I find my hair always looks healthier and flows better after using this clever bond-repair formula.”
Styling Finishing Cream, £20.84 | Kerasilk
“On days when only a slicked-back bun will do, I rely on Kerasilk’s Finishing Cream to get the job done. Warm a small amount between your palms and work it into the hair near the roots, brushing as you go. Part the hair with a fine-toothed comb, adding more product where needed to smooth any flyaways and wind it into a bun. The formula has a slight iridescence to it which just adds an extra level of shine, and I love the lingering rose-lychee scent.”
Sapna's Favourites
Spoilt For Choice Hair Oil, £55 | Larry King Haircare
“I’ve loved incorporating hair oil into my routine over the past year – it’s become such a ritual. Before my hair wash day, I’ll oil my hair, massaging this one into my scalp. The scent is incredible, with a rosemary oil-infused formula which is perfect for hair growth and repair. Elsewhere, I use it for styling my hair and managing flyaways.”
Large Natural Bristle & Nylon Paddle Brush Pf01, £11 | Kent Brushes
“A good hairbrush is non-negotiable, but that doesn't mean it has to break the bank. Kent brushes are easy to find at any major supermarket or drugstore – and are the key to a great slicked back bun. I love the mini versions to keep in my bag for quick flyaway touch-ups throughout the day.”
MAKE-UP
Becky's Favourites
Beauty Balm Serum Boosted Skin Tint, £43 | Anastasia Beverly Hills
“Normally, I’m sceptical about foundation sticks in case they feel drying or cakey, but this is the opposite. Smooth, creamy and easy to work with, it offers both light and full coverage, while ingredients like shea butter, fruit and castor oil keep skin supple and hydrated. The finish is what I call ‘semi-matte’ with just enough radiance that makes it ideal for this time of year. I love it around my eyes and on any areas of redness as it unifies skin without removing its natural texture entirely.”
Miracle Pure Golden Glow Bronzer, £9.99 | Max Factor
“Powders are normally my preference for bronzer, but I’ve been loving this from Max Factor. Like a liquid sun-tan, you only need a tiny amount. I recommend buffing it in with a brush for a natural-looking glow. It warms skin up and gives it a healthy quality I can’t get enough of. The hyaluronic acid and squalane inside add to the juicy, dewy volume – especially on the cheeks. At £9.99, this is a great rival for similar but more expensive ones on the market.”
Orin's Favourites
Architecture Soft Matte Blurring Foundation, £130 | Tom Ford
“I can’t pretend to understand when people say they dislike powder – I live for a pressed compact. This new version by Tom Ford is great, but don’t be put off by the name if you usually go for a radiant finish. It’s so finely milled that it just creates a soft, veil-like effect over your make-up. I apply it sparingly, swirling a precision powder brush into the product and over my skin to take down any unwanted shine. I wear ‘Sahara Dusk’, but I’ve found the darkest shade ‘Sable Voile’ actually works really nicely as a matte bronzer.”
Cream Colour Base, £26 | MAC Cosmetics
“An oldie but a goodie, M.A.C’s Cream Colour Base is worth its weight in gold. The shade I’m wedded to is ‘Hush’, a pretty, pearlescent peach. With this colour, you get extra bang for your buck as it works well both on the apples of the cheeks and up towards the temples, doubling up as blush and highlighter. The emollient-based formula feels light and fresh on the skin, and it’s entirely buildable, depending on the effect you’re after. I live in fear that it will be discontinued.”
Sapna's Favourites
“The new Boy Brow pencil is a mix of everything you could possibly need. Taking the flexibility and intensity of a pomade, the application ease of a pencil and a longwear finish, it’s an all-in-one hero. The best thing about it is its lid is designed to sharpen the nib’s tip to keep hairs looking sharp and fine.”
Buttermelt Blush, £8.99 | NYX Professional Makeup
“I’m a blush-obsessive and this one has gone viral on TikTok for a reason. I rarely reach for a powder blush these days, but this one is so hydrating and pigmented that it’s converted me again. Ideal for that Sabrina Carpenter-esque flushed look, it comes in several great shades.”
SKIN
Becky's Favourites
“My dry, sometimes irritated skin has always loved Clarins’ iconic Double Serum. Now, it loves it even more as it’s been reformulated with something called Epi-ageing defense technology. This has been added to enhance its existing anti-ageing promise. It continues to both hydrate and moisturise skin, but also renew cells and stimulate them to boost better hydration, protection and nutrition. It’s only been a few weeks of testing out the new formula, but I can hand on heart say that whenever I use this, my complexion looks bright and refreshed. The texture is still unrivalled too – think light, gentle and discreet, and it never interferes with anything else in your routine.”
Kao Japan Aqua Rich Essence Sun Cream SPF 50+, £21 | Bioré
“For me, few facial SPFs rival those by La Roche-Posay or Garnier, but this comes close. Affordable and gentle, it has a featherlight texture that quite literally disappears into the skin. It’s watery too, with a gel quality that feels so good. It leaves zero white or ashy cast behind and it offers factor 50 protection without irritating the eyes or causing sensitivities. Lastly, it mattifies the skin, so make-up has a great base to adhere to. In short, it ticks every box; I only wish it was more readily available in stores – you may find you have to order this one online.”
Orin's Favourites
The Special Mask, £200 | EviDenS De Beauté
“True to its name, The Special Mask by EviDenS is a cut above. I’ve been using it as part of my Sunday night facial ritual, and I’m completely hooked. The formula feels nourishing and luxurious on the skin, and it contains menthyl lactate which creates a really refreshing, cool sensation – lovely if you leave it on while you’re having a hot soak. My complexion is perpetually dull, but I find that it looks visibly healthier and plumper after using this mask. It essentially breathes life back into your skin.”
FortifEYE Firming Eye Patches, £22 | Pixi
“I rarely used to bother with under-eye patches unless I was flying, and only recently I’ve realised I’d been missing a trick. Full of peptides and caffeine, Pixi’s FortifEYE gels are effective and soothing, especially handy if your eyes are tired from staring at a screen. I’m a sucker for instant results, and these get to work in minutes. Pop them on in the early evening if you’re heading out, and expect brighter, more awake-looking eyes within the space of a sitcom episode.”

Luna™ 3 Cleansing Device, £104.50 (was £209) | Foreo
“If I stop using this for a few days, I notice a serious difference. Perfect for a more intense cleanse, I pop my CeraVe cleanser on and use it to properly remove my make-up each night. In the morning, I use it to massage my skin with another gentle cleanse and really feel that it helps keep unwanted texture at bay.”
Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash, £14 | Fresh
“Another great product for minimising texture and bumps, this sugar scrub is one of the only physical facial exfoliants I trust. Gentle but effective, it melts away after buffing and reveals a silky-smooth texture thanks to an infusion of moisture-boosting grapeseed oil.”
