Kiehl’s is renowned for its cult skincare, but it's the brand’s new loyalty programme that has everyone talking right now. Unlike most loyalty schemes, it’s possible to earn points and rewards without having to constantly shop. Nab a birthday gift, recycle your empties (from any brand) and get rewarded for skin consultations that track your skin progress. Here’s what you need to know and how you can start earning points straight away…

About The Kiehl's Family Rewards Scheme

Expanding on its Family Rewards loyalty programme, Kiehl’s offers plenty of different ways to get yourself points. These points means rewards and impressive discounts for you across its range of efficacious formulas inspired by nature, science and service. The scheme itself is simple. Earning points is easy – £1 = one point, exclusively in Kiehl's boutiques in the UK and at The brand are now even offering double points on your first purchase for the month of June and a welcome gift of skincare minis. A £60 purchase will automatically reward you with (120 points) a £10 voucher and your gifts.

How To Sign Up

All you need to do is join the free rewards programme here online or visit any boutique to register there. Sign up, create an account and tick the box for ‘Family Rewards’.

The Way It Works

Gain points by…

…1 Point For Every £1 You Spend

Every time you spend a point – be it online or in store – you’ll earn yourself a £1 to spend. Rack up the points and you’ll soon save a chunk to go towards your next big haul.

Getting A Consultation…

…20 Points Up To 4x Per Year

In store or virtually, every time you speak to a Kiehl’s skincare expert you’ll receive 20 points. This is one of the easiest – and most useful – ways to gain points. You’ll also get double points on your first loyalty purchase. For instance, a product that costs £60 will qualify for 120 points, so try combining a consultation with any product to max out your points haul.

Referring A Friend…

…50 Points Up To 10x Per Year

This one’s pretty easy, too. Simply introduce your friends to Kiehl’s clever Rewards Scheme and in return you’ll receive up to 50 points. You can do this 10x throughout the year.

…15 Points For Every Skincare Empty
Get rid of your empty beauty products in store and receive 15 points for every item you take in to any Kiehl’s boutique. Save yourself space and throwaway guilt, and get a satisfying reward to boot.

Available via Kiehl’s Family Rewards Scheme. Sign up here*

Midnight Recovery Concentrate, £41

Why It’s Worth Shopping: Since it launched a decade ago, this has become a skincare staple for many, with just a few drops needed to replenish skin overnight. Expect to wake up to fresher-feeling skin, which is visibly more toned and radiant thanks to a combination of hydrating squalane and essential oils. No wonder it's the UK’s number one luxury anti-ageing facial oil.

Ultra-Facial Cream, £28

Why It’s Worth Shopping: You’d be hard pushed to find a make-up artist who doesn’t have this in their kit. One of Kiehl’s bestsellers, it’s a great multipurpose buy, acting as a primer, hydrator and inflammation soother all at once. It provides up to 24-hour hydration, while also protecting the skin from harsh elements – you’ll find it absorbs quickly too, with zero sticky residue left behind.

Calendula Deep Cleansing Foaming Face Wash, £26.50

Why It’s Worth Shopping: Brimming with skin-softening calendula extract, this foaming cleanser gently removes surface dirt – think make-up and daily pollution – while boosting hydration levels. Added glycerin locks in moisture and keeps it there long after you’ve rinsed it away. You’ll also love the smoothing effect it has on skin – pores look smaller and more refined while oiliness is kept at bay. Extra points for the lack of alcohol, which makes it suitable for those with sensitive skin.

Ultra Light Daily UV Defense SPF 50 PA++++, £40

Why It’s Worth Shopping: Suitable for all skin types, this SPF is a daily staple and Kiehl’s best-selling sunscreen. Lightweight in texture, it sits imperceptibly underneath make-up and protects against both UVA/UVB and pollution, which can lead to premature signs of ageing. Extra points go to the non-comedogenic formula, which never clogs up your pores, meaning fewer breakouts and a comfortable, non-greasy finish.
