9 Supermarket Skincare Finds

9 Supermarket Skincare Finds

Who doesn’t want affordable skincare that performs? From Lidl to M&S, supermarket shelves are now lined with moisturisers and serums that are a match for their more expensive counterparts. We’ve picked nine of our favourite finds, starting from just £1.49.

1. Lacura Vitamin C Hot Cloth Cleanser, £3.99

Hot on the heels of the popular hot cloth cleanser comes this new, vitamin C-laced formula. Primarily, it takes away make-up and grime, and rehydrates dry skin, but it’s also a formidable force against dark spots and dullness thanks to the gentle exfoliation it offers.

Available at Aldi.co.uk

2. Lidl Cien Micellar Water, £1.49

Lidl’s new hydration range doesn’t disappoint. Most notably, the micellar water leaves skin feeling soft and cleansed thanks to hyaluronic sodium and soothing glycerine. While it’s ideal for dry skin types and surface grime, you might need to go back in with a stronger make-up remover, just to be sure everything’s gone.

Available in store at Lidl

3. Love Beauty & Planet Peace & Glow Body Scrub, £6.99

Harnessing the power of rose and murumuru butter, this gentle buffer thoroughly removes dead skin cells and dull patches without over-drying limbs. It instantly boosts skin’s luminosity and smoothness with a non-irritating formula that’s suitable for sensitive skin types.

Available at Ocado

4. Formula Absolute Ultimate Sleep Cream, £23

It’s little wonder this once commanded a wait list of over 7,500 people. It delivers a mega dose of hydration, plumps out fine lines and revives tired-looking skin in ten minutes. Nine tubs are reportedly sold every hour – in other words, be quick.

Available at Marks & Spencer

5. Sugu Bubble Sheet Mask, £2.50 (was £3.50)

Sugu’s Bubble Sheet Mask delivers instant gratification, flooding skin with antioxidants to help purify and refine texture and tone. It’s also packed with moisturising and brightening benefits. Definitely worth stocking up on this Korean beauty brand during your next trip to Asda.

Available at Asda

6. Yes To Coconut Oil Cleansing Balm, £9.99

Thanks to potent formulas that really deliver on their promise, Yes To is one of the best high-street skincare brands. This cleansing balm is our favourite from the range. Thick in consistency, it works to melt away make-up and general dirt without any tugging or pulling of the skin. Because of its silky texture, it’s great for dry, thirsty skin types, but works well on normal complexions too.

Available at Ocado

7. Yope Hand Cream, £8.99

A favourite among editors, this soothes parched hands with nourishing vitamin E and shea butter. For some extra luxury, check out Yope’s range of uplifting body washes and cosseting body balms. The pleasing packaging is a bonus.

Available at Waitrose

8. Pure Nourishing Face Mask, £8.40 (was £12)

Consistently receiving 5* reviews, Pure’s popular mask employs oats and blackcurrant oils to gently exfoliate and soak up excess oil. You can also use it as a night-time moisturiser, thanks to a thick texture that dry skin soaks up, without any greasy residue left over. The natural ingredients make it usable for really sensitive skin types.

Available at Marks & Spencer

9. Tesco Kind & Pure Refreshing Daily Moisturiser SPF 15, £1.50

With hydrating cucumber extract and skin-boosting vitamin B5, this is a beauty steal at just £1.50. It also offers SPF protection, works well on sensitive skin types (it has a pH balanced formula) and sits well underneath make-up. In short, it’s everything we look for in a day cream – at an unbeatable price point.
