Paralympics Paris 2024: Opening Ceremony, Channel 4

The summer of sport isn’t over just yet. Clare Balding, Ade Adepitan, Ellie Simmonds, Billy Monger and Rose Ayling-Ellis will present coverage of the Paralympics opening ceremony tonight, marking the start of 11 more days of awe-inspiring sport. This time, Instead of the Seine, more than 4,000 Paralympic athletes will be parading down the iconic Champs-Élysées.

The Last Leg In Paris, Channel 4 

To provide extra insight and laughs into this year’s sporting calendar, The Last Leg is back – and this time it's in Paris. The core team – Adam Hills, Alex Brooker and Josh Widdicombe – are joined by comic Josh Pugh to provice running commentary on the Paralympics. In the first episode, the group are joined on the sofa with Ed Jackson, an ex-rugby player who proved doctors wrong after being told he would never walk again.

Kaos is a dark-comedy series from Charlie Covell (The End of the F***ing World). The plot centres on three humans who discover their link to an ancient prophecy while navigating the chaotic world of corrupt gods. Zeus, the long-reigning King of the Gods, spirals into paranoia after discovering a wrinkle on his forehead, setting off a series of divine upheavals. With an all-star cast including Jeff Goldblum (Zeus), Janet McTeer (Hera), Cliff Curtis (Poseidon), David Thewlis (Hades), Debi Mazar (Medusa), Billie Piper (Cassandra) and Eddie Izzard (Lachy), Kaos promises to be a must-watch.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Prime Video
