The Great Exhibition Road Festival

One of London's best free family events returns to South Kensington this weekend. Inspired by the original Great Exhibition of 1851, the festival transforms Exhibition Road into a giant outdoor playground filled with live science shows, interactive workshops, art installations, performances and hands-on experiments. This year's highlights include robot football, giant roaming puppets, origami spacecrafts and even a brownie-baking session inspired by the surface of Mars. The Natural History Museum, V&A, Science Museum and Royal Albert Hall are all taking part.
