From the app that will change how you travel to the designer resale platform you need to know about, this is everything our editor-in-chief is loving right now…

The Bag

Prada Route

I try not to fall for something once it's plastered all over Instagram, but tastemakers like Monikh and Monica De La Villardière have only further convinced me of the merits of Prada’s new Route canvas-and-leather tote. It’s been a while since we’ve seen a designer It bag that feels completely fresh, and the gorpcore-inspired look, feel and – most importantly – practicality of this tote make it a genuinely usable investment. The Collection

Celine Summer

Michael Rider’s Celine is hitting a real sweet spot right now – it feels grown up, cool and, unlike so many of the super brands, still relatively affordable. The high summer campaign has me dreaming of lazy beach days, draped in Celine-branded towels, monogrammed accessories, and – for the brave – toes decked out in chunky rings.

The Netflix Show

Big Mistakes

Schitt’s Creek fans will feel right at home in Dan Levy’s new mob caper, in which his minister character and his wayward sister get accidentally caught up in an organised crime gang. Written with girl-of-the-moment Rachel Sennott, the brains behind I Love LA and co-collaborator with Charlie XCX on satirical film The Moment, it’s fun, camp, jam-packed with family dynamics and highly bingeable.

The Brand To Know

Chan Luu

I’m always on the lookout for brands that offer something a little different – just see above. Enter Chan Luu, the heritage Vietnamese-born label which has been slowly reinventing itself since 2021. Interesting shapes are the lynchpin of the newest collection – think hourglass cardigans, sequined-mesh maxi dresses to layer over underwear or swimwear, architectural coats that can pass as tops and sequin handkerchief halter necks – all at a price point that won’t make you baulk.

The Cultural Moment

Harry Styles Meltdown

The Southbank Centre has been welcoming guest editors for years, and now it’s Harry Styles’ turn, with the superstar putting down roots in London for a week to bring together some of his favourite lesser-known singers, songwriters and performers. Tickets are still available for many events throughout the festival in June, including a headline show by the curator himself, which has yet to be announced. Consider it a safe space to discover new artists, all with the Harry Styles seal of approval.

The Vintage Platform

Sororité Vintage

Judging by its 800,000 followers, Sororité Vintage won’t be new to many, but I’ve been addicted to scrolling their killer collection of pre-owned footwear in recent weeks. Theirs is an edit that would make Carrie Bradshaw swoon – Prada heart-print mules circa 2000, THE Giuseppe Zanotti lobster-laden sandals, Chanel 90s black-toe capped pointed slingbacks… It’s all worth paying the customs fees for.

The Pieces

A.W.A.K.E. Mode

In a sea of neutrals and identikit wardrobes, be more A.W.A.K.E. Mode, whose signature flare is making them a standout brand right now. The British label’s crop of summer tops, from asymmetric shirts to pie-crust neck party pieces, makes them a go-to to reinvest the jeans-and-a-nice-top formula for the summer season.

The App

Mio

I hate when you’re excited by a new app, but the experience is underwhelming. Downloading Mio was quite the opposite – an interactive world map, it collects the data from any travel-related social media posts you send it and breaks it down into digestible guides. The 53 Tokyo recommendations on an influencer’s TikTok post I tested it with were written out by their AI widget in seconds and then tracked on the map – broken out by restaurants, coffee shops, vintage stores – ready for when I travel there later in the year. Beats the spreadsheet I had laboriously tried to start…
