It’s the last day of Black History Month and I want to spend it highlighting some of my favourite Black-owned fashion labels that should be firmly on your radar not just this month, but year-round. Whether, like me, you’re looking for explosions of colour and print or you want cool accessories to go with what you already have, these are brands worth knowing about.

Now, more than ever, is an exciting time for Black designers – I’ve just been watching some of the shows at Lagos Fashion Week and the likes of Rendoll, ORÍRÉ and LFJ are all going to be part of my plans for my SS25 wardrobe. I love shopping Black-owned brands not only because of my Ghanaian heritage, but also because I’m able to shop unique and stylish pieces that have a positive impact on the industry.
