The Fashion Team’s Bank Holiday Looks

I’ll be spending the bank holiday in the country, which means layers. I'm loving the shorts trend – I'm wearing mine with my With Nothing Underneath shirt and a cream jumper. As for accessories, I have my eye on this Naghedi tote bag and finally, I'll add a these pink flats for a pop of colour.

I’m headed to Budapest for the bank holiday and as I’m only travelling with hand luggage, I’ll be relying on a capsule wardrobe. These silky shorts from Reformation are so versatile – great with a simple ribbed vest. I never travel without a jacket either, and this hero fringed piece is the perfect summer layer. To differentiate my evening looks, I’ll throw on a pair of heeled sandals and add some gold accessories.

I’ve booked a big family lunch in Soho, so a co-ord is the perfect choice for the kind of effortless look I can dress up with cool sunglasses and a statement bag. I love the print of this Malina set and after lunch, I’ll throw on an oversized grey sweatshirt for chill time at home. 

I’ll be in Greece for the bank holiday, and I'm hoping to wear all my fun summer clothes – potentially for the last time. Silk shorts are a trend I love – plus, I've been lusting after a red shirt like this Massimo one all summer. I also plan to take a fun crochet bag and some earrings that can instantly elevate any outfit.

I'm opting for a more transitional look this bank holiday by breaking out this velvety-suede jacket. I'll pair it with some horseshoe style jeans for an interesting silhouette and complete the look with some animal print kitten heels. I'm still not sure of my weekend plans so to cover all bases, I'll add a pair of statement earrings just in case.

I'm spending the long weekend in the country, so I'm relying on practical basics I can easily layer up as the weather changes. I love these new tapered cotton trousers from COS, while a silk scarf is an easy and versatile way to add interest. Finally, these standout Miu Miu-inspired flats are probably one of the best pieces I've seen all summer.

Bank holiday only ever means one thing to me: Notting Hill Carnival – it's one of the best weekends in London. Of course, my look is all about bold colour, and comfortable heels are a must for all the walking I’ll be doing.
