What’s On Kay Barron’s Style Radar This Season

If there’s one wardrobe we’d happily raid, it’s Kay Barron’s. NET-A-PORTER’s fashion director is known for her impeccable taste and signature style that blends contemporary polish with effortless cool and with a new season underway, now was the perfect time to find out which pieces have made it onto her wish list…

All products on this page have been selected by our editorial team, however we may make commission on some products.

01

The Power Suit

My wish list often includes a few Saint Laurent pieces, and this season is no different. This suit is top of the list – the oversized tailoring and sharp lapels give it a masculine edge, but there’s something subtly seductive about the overall look.

02

The Work Bag

This is both stylish and practical – spacious enough to fit my laptop yet elegant enough to transition my office outfit into the evening. It ticks all the boxes.

03

The Statement Jeans

AGOLDE is always my go-to for jeans, and while I never thought I’d go back to distressed denim, this pair has won me over. The wash is perfect, the relaxed fit feels effortless, and even the worn-in knee adds the right amount of personality. I know I’ll be living in these all summer.

04

The New Brand

We recently launched Kallmeyer on site, and this top immediately made its way onto my wish list. The draped body is straight off the SS25 runway.

05

The Transitional Jacket

Living and working in London, I’ll realistically need a jacket this season. This Nour Hammour one reimagines the classic barn jacket by adding suede and a contrasting leather collar. I’ll be crossing my fingers for no rain.

06

The Sunglasses

I usually opt for a smaller frame, and these sunglasses from Celine are just perfect. The cat-eye shape flatters my face, but the softer, rounder edges give them a modern twist, making them feel fresh rather than retro.

07

The Slip-On Shoe

I’m a big fan of soft leather slip-ons for summer evenings, and this Khaite pair have quickly become a favourite. The leather is so supple, which means they’re as comfortable as they are chic.

08

The Co-Ord

I’m very much in the spring/summer mindset now, but this is who I want to be on humid summer nights – either in the city with a very high heel, or on holiday with a barely there sandal.

The Event Dress

We’ve also just launched our Sense of Occasion edit for summer event dressing. With plenty of weddings and personal events lined up this summer, I’ve already got my eye on this Zimmerman halterneck maxi and, of course, anything by Saint Laurent.

10

The Jewellery

Whenever I compliment someone in the office on their jewellery, it’s usually from Completedworks. I’ve recently added this cuff to my wish list – I plan to layer over a basic long-sleeved top to give it a simple yet chic look.

11

The Basket Bag

A couple of days of sunshine in London have me longing for a long weekend getaway to the coast, which naturally has me dreaming of a holiday wardrobe. This Saint Laurent bag is perfect.

12

The Basic Tee

A t-shirt is one of those simple pieces that’s surprisingly difficult to get right, but this Khaite tee nails it. Slightly loose and with the perfect neckline, it’s the kind of effortless fit we’re all looking for.
