Aligne Bridal Capsule

Contemporary brand Aligne recently launched a bridal capsule and it’s the perfect choice for brides looking for something modern and affordable. I’m a big fan of the jacket layered over the sleeveless mini dress, which would look so chic for a town hall wedding.

Sculptural Wedding Bands

I’ve been considering what kind of wedding band I’d like to go for and have been drawn to less-traditional options. I’m undecided as to whether I’d like more diamonds but I’m certain the one I go for will have an interesting shape – Kimaï has some beautiful, curved options that I think would wrap nicely around my engagement ring.

Hen Do Outfits

I’m still months away but naturally, I’ve already started a long list of potential hen do outfits. I plan to wear something as extra as possible as there aren’t many occasions in life when you can really be centre of attention – think beading, ruffles, feathers and sequins.

Kindred of Ireland Bridal

Made by hand using Irish linen, Kindred’s first bridal collection ‘Behold’ offers something a little different but still feels feminine and suitably show-stopping. The collection also features stylish separates that would make a great option for a hen, civil ceremony or the morning of your wedding.

Gloves

A common theme in a lot of my bridal Pinterest saves is gloves. They are quite ‘of the moment’, but I don’t think trends should be avoided just because it’s your wedding day. I personally love sheer options with a bit of embellishment, but Sleeper has some lovely opaque options with cutesy bow detail.

Wedding Dress Favourites

I won’t give away where I’ve got my wedding dress from just yet but I will share a few brands that I loved visiting during my hunt. The Own Studio and Bon Bridé were two obvious choices as someone who wanted a slightly edgier bridal look – they both had so many options that felt different to anything else I’d seen. I didn’t think a bigger dress would be something I’d gravitate towards but a couple of Cinq gowns I tried at The Fall Bride really changed my mind. Also at The Fall Bride, Prea James’s Grace gown was a surprise standout for me, especially as you could customise it by adding a bow and removing the straps. I feel like the Aussies do wedding dresses so well. One label I loved the look of but didn’t get to try is NYC-based Danielle Frankel – if I hadn’t already made my decision, I’d love to try on her dresses.
