1. The Coat Dress
Mimia Coat Dress, €633.95 | The Modest
I recently bought this silk coat dress from Studio The Modest and I already know it'll be one of my most-worn evening pieces. It feels so elegant but still effortless, which is exactly what I want on holiday. Wear it with a vintage tassel clutch and simple sandals for dinner.
2. The Trousers
Bea Crepe Pants, £320 | Almada
These crepe trousers from Almada have become one of the hardest-working pieces in my wardrobe. They literally go with everything, are incredibly comfortable and best of all, they don't need ironing – ideal when you're travelling. I'd also pack the matching top because it makes getting dressed so easy.
3. The Kaftan
Lisbon Shirt Dress, £425 | Asceno
A white linen kaftan is the first thing I pack. Just go up one or two sizes to get that effortless, relaxed feel. It's one of those pieces you can throw over swimwear during the day, then add jewellery and sandals for lunch or sunset drinks. Nothing looks better with a tan than crisp white linen.
4. The Flip-Flops
Thong Detail Slides, £185 (were £310) | St. Agni
During the day I'm loyal to my Havaianas but these are what I'll wear most evenings because they’re a little more elevated. I rarely pack heels anymore – generally, you just want something comfortable, versatile and easy to slip on. These go with everything, are incredibly comfortable and take up hardly any room in a suitcase.
5. The Co-Ord
Silk Cotton Tunic, £235 | Asceno & Silk Cotton Trousers, £235 | Asceno
You never want to overthink getting dressed on holiday, so I always pack pieces that do the hard work for me. That's why I love a co-ord. This one, from the Alexis Foreman x ASCENO collaboration, is the perfect option for Spain. It's lightweight, easy to wear and you instantly look put together with minimal effort.
6. The Stole
Pleated Stole, £534 (was £654) | Issey Miyake
I never go on holiday without my Issey Miyake stoles. I own two and they're probably the most versatile pieces in my wardrobe. You can wear them as scarves, wraps or even draped over your shoulders in the evening. They're so lightweight and instantly make even the simplest outfit feel more considered.
7. The Cuff
Matilde Cuff, £89 | Heaven Mayhem
This cuff came with me on my last holiday and it'll definitely be again. It’s true that one statement accessory can completely transform an outfit. Whether I'm wearing a floor-length kaftan or a simple maxi dress, it adds just the right amount of interest without feeling overdone.
8. The Sunglasses
Ines Sunglasses, £250 | Vincent Boulevard
These sunglasses have been sold out for what feels like forever, which doesn't surprise me because they're the perfect shape. They work with every outfit, are timeless rather than trend-led and I couldn't imagine going to Spain without them.
9. The Scarf
Multi Wear Triangle Scarf, €167.95 | The Modest
This silk scarf is a non-negotiable. I wear it mostly as a headscarf, especially on windy beach days or when my hair isn't co-operating but it's such a versatile accessory. You can tie it around your neck, wear it on a bag or even style it as a top. It's an easy way to make a simple holiday outfit feel much more interesting.
10. The Clutch
The Marlies Clutch, £432 | Marlies Grace
A vintage tassel clutch is my go-to evening bag on holiday. Pair it with a flowing kaftan or maxi dress for dinner to instantly add texture and personality. Vintage accessories always make an outfit feel a little more unique.
11. The Tote
Open-Top Tote, £35 | L.L. Bean
You really can't go wrong with an L.L.Bean tote. Mine comes everywhere with me – the airport, the beach, the pool – I honestly don't travel without it. This is the large size and it fits absolutely everything.
