The Luxe List: January

The SL team shares a selection of their new favourite things. From the fashion team’s new launch of choice to the latest beauty must-have, our monthly Luxe List offers all the inspiration you need...

MATCHESFASHION has joined forces with homeware specialists Summerill & Bishop to design an exclusive capsule collection including this blue and green tablecloth. It's crafted from linen printed with the signature marbled motifs, created by design studio Irving & Co in collaboration with artist Ann Muir. The ultimate foundation for a sophisticated dinner setting.

Tracksuit: Bazilika

A favourite of some of fashion’s most stylish women, cult brand Bazilika has launched its selection of luxe tracksuits – just in time for lockdown 3.0. Rosie Huntington-Whitely has been quick to snap one up, so if you’re looking to treat yourself this time around, think of it as the ultimate loungewear indulgence.

Slipper: Olivia Morris

For a house shoe that’s both pretty and colourful, Olivia Morris’ bow detail slippers are the perfect choice to treat yourself. There are a variety of colours to choose from, but the brand’s newest addition features recycled denim, making them both good for your conscience and your lockdown wardrobe.

The laminated brow effect (think glossy, fluffed-up arches that stay put) has been on trend for a while, but now it's easier to replicate, thanks to new brand REFY. Launched by Instagram model Jess Hunt, the three-piece set houses a brow sculpter, pomade and pencil to shape, define and set your brows into place. Vegan and cruelty-free, the formulas are of the highest standard, while the results are impressive – no wonder they initially sold out immediately. We love the aesthetically-pleasing packaging, too.

JEWELLERY: Mejuri X Sarah Harris

Canadian brand Mejuri has partnered with Vogue Deputy Editor and Fashion Features Director Sarah Harris to design a limited-edition collection of earrings. The designs are classic, in line with the effortlessly chic style Harris is known for, and crafted with 14k gold – making them the perfect addition to your everyday jewellery wardrobe.

FILM: Pieces of a Woman

Martha (Vanessa Kirby) and Sean (Shia LaBeouf) are on the verge of parenthood whose lives change irrevocably when a home birth ends in unimaginable tragedy. Thus begins a yearlong odyssey for Martha, who must navigate her grief while working through fractious relationships with Sean and her domineering mother (Ellen Burstyn), along with the publicly vilified midwife (Molly Parker), whom she must face in court. Executive produced by Martin Scorsese, Pieces of a Woman is a deeply personal, searing, and ultimately transcendent story of a woman learning to live alongside her loss.

CLASS: TRX On Demand

TRX is a suspension training system that makes gravity your resistance. Now the team has launched an on-demand series of digital workouts. Of the collection, we love the sound of the TRX Strength & Conditioning class and TRX Total Body Conditioning class, both of which will improve your cardio fitness and build muscular endurance, using high intensity intervals to effectively burn calories, build lean muscle, promote weight loss, and keep you at the top of your game.

COLLAB: Gucci X North Face

Few fashion collaborations have been more unexpected than Gucci and outerwear brand The North Face. Suffice to say the collection has more than divided opinion, but with more of us spending time outdoors, it couldn’t have come at a better time. Combining Gucci’s maximalist prints with TNF’s technical kudos, in the result is oversized puffers, hiking style backpacks and chunky walking boots – proving that ‘outdoorsy’ needn’t equal boring.
