One of my favourite brands for swimwear is the Aussie label Peony – I bought this striped bikini last year and love that it's still available now. It's a timeless style and has a really comfortable fit. I also really like this bikini from Away That Day  – it feels like a chic way to tap into the metal detail trend and I love the combination of gold and white. When it comes to swimsuits, my favourites are by Hunza G style but I've also got my eye on this low-back piece from Vanessa Sposi. Finally, when it comes to high-street swimwear, H&M always has some great options.

This summer, it’s all about versatile pieces that work hard but still feel elevated. I’m drawn to swimwear styles I can throw on with an oversized shirt or a neutral sarong – effortless, easy and endlessly chic. A white strapless bikini is the ultimate staple: simple, flattering and perfect for layering. For something bolder, I love this wave-print one-piece from Yaitte – it also doubles as a top with wide-leg trousers for lunch in the sun. Faithfull The Brand always nails that soft, feminine vibe while still feeling modern, and this pretty blue will be the perfect partner for white linen. I like to keep the colour palette pared-back and elevate the final look with statement sunglasses and great accessories.

Swimwear is an essential part of my wardrobe all year round – not just for summer. I'm very particular about the styles I go for but I love switching it up between bikinis and swimsuits. Starting with swimsuits, I always look for interesting details that bring a piece to life, whether it's a unique cut, textured fabric or bold design. For bikinis, the bottoms have to be either tie-waist or high-waisted to create the most flattering silhouette for my shape. Colour and print are always my go-tos, but I can never resist a classic black swimsuit either.

Toco Swim is a brand I turn to for bold colours and flattering shapes. This two-tone burgundy bikini is such a standout and it’s easy to pair with crochet trousers or a crisp linen shirt. H&M remains my high-street favourite, and this asymmetric one-piece is currently at the top of my wish list. It’s classic but still feels that little bit different. I’ve really leaned into polka dots this year and this frilled bikini from Frankies Bikini is the perfect blend of femininity and fun. The retro cut and ditsy print make it an easy statement piece.

I always lean towards clean, minimal swimwear in neutral tones – it’s timeless, easy to wear and works just as well by the pool as it does with a shirt thrown over it for dinner. I love a square neckline with thin straps; it’s such a flattering, elegant shape that doesn't feel fussy. ARKET  and J.Crew are my staples – great quality, great fit and the pieces hold their shape season after season. For a treat, I’m obsessed with Australian brand Matteau. Everything always feel effortless and the swimwear is perfect for layering.
