Milola Design Fabrics

Already renowned for its exquisite capsule wallpaper collections, Milola Design has launched a range of standalone fabrics. We love Venezia, a marblised furnishing fabric that draws inspiration from Venice, where designer Larissa Miloradovich noticed the marbled papers and the ever-changing coloured waters that weave through the city. It’s perfect for a range of uses, including drapery, curtains and soft furnishings, and is part of a collection of five designs that all began in Venice. Venezia is available via The Fabric Collective on Langton Street at £179 per metre.

Salvesen Graham Fabrics

Colour and pattern sophisticates Mary Graham and Nicole Salvesen wanted to design a collection of the woven plains that they were always looking for in their own projects. The three versatile designs – Genevieve, Seaweed, and Plain – are available in 20 nature-inspired colourways and can be applied to both upholstery and drapery. Softer shades like Buttercream and Ginger Pink would work in a bedroom, while warm Cinnamon looks perfect to elevate a dining room.

Jo Laing Matchboxes

For more than 20 years, London-based illustrator Jo Laing has treasured a tiny Italian ceramic matchbox she was given in an Amalfi restaurant. Having tried for the best part of a decade to build a collection and never found anything similar, Jo set out to make her own. The creative process took her to the famous potteries of Stoke-on-Trent, where she designed samples alongside a talented team of ceramicists. This Christmas, Jo has expanded her range with some new designs that are made for Christmas gifting.

Alice Crawley x Layered

Swedish design brand Layered has collaborated with British designer Alice Crawley on a collection of six wool rugs. The eclectic patterns and playful mix of colours are inspired by Alice’s time spent living in south-east Asia. A recurring theme is bamboo, a material Alice frequently returns to in her projects, and which has become a signature in her design aesthetic. Bamboo silhouettes have been integrated in two different ways – as an elegant border and as a more abstract pattern.
