Henry Holland Gingham Collection

The latest tabletop collection from Henry Holland includes a new, hand-crafted pattern – an exploration of nostalgic kitsch brought to life using the studio’s signature nerikomi ceramic technique. Celebrating the art of pattern, the Gingham Collection sees three colours of clay – Blue, Green and Brown – cut, sliced and composed with meticulous precision to form a striking gingham. The collection features new and distinctive shapes across all categories, including plates, bowls, serving platters, vases, mugs, teacups with saucers, chalice bowls, cake stands and planters. Finished with scalloped edges and intricate silhouettes, the forms reference a set of antique French stainless steel cookware, which Henry discovered at a vintage store in France. Evoking a sweet nostalgia, the collection’s vases have also been affectionately named after iconic British desserts: Pavlova, Battenberg and Eton.
