Collection Noir Dining Tables

Launching on 10th July, the latest addition to Collection Noir’s bespoke furniture range is the Faro dining table. Adding to its extensive collection of luxurious, hand-crafted marble and travertine furniture, the Faro embodies the beauty of natural stone and the finest Italian craftsmanship. It takes its inspiration from Roman architecture, interpreting it in a more contemporary way. The Faro can also be tailor-made to any size.

Alfred Newall Lamps

These hand-turned bamboo and bobbin lamp bases from Alfred Newall are available in a variety of colours and finishes. Handmade at his workshop in Sussex, they come in a range of sizes. The components are hand-turned on a traditional wood lathe, simultaneously spinning and shaping. Then, through careful use of a chisel, the bamboo stems and nodes, as well as the bobbin spools, are formed. Each piece is unique and celebrates the individual grain patterns found in the timber.

Habitat x Design Museum

The Design Museum has announced ‘Changing Spaces: 60 Years of Design with Habitat’, a free display that explores our evolving relationship with our homes, and the role design can play in enabling us to create spaces that truly reflect who we are and where we come from. The display, which will be in the atrium at the Design Museum from 10th July to 11th August, will explore the way colour, lighting and statement pieces bring individuality to a space, how the way we socialise at home has changed, and the need for flexible spaces where we can work, rest and play.

C.Atherley Shop

Since it launched in March 2023, C.Atherley has popped up in various spaces across London. However, the home fragrance and bodycare brand has now found a permanent home in Connaught Village, close to Hyde Park. It marks a homecoming of sorts for Cath Kidston Padgham MBE, C.Atherley’s Gloucestershire-based founder. Created in partnership with the founders of British beauty brand Heathcote & Ivory, Geranium No.1 fragrance was the first in a series, and a second fragrance will launch in the early autumn.

Lucy Laucht At 8 Holland Street

With an old film camera in hand, photographer Lucy Laucht travelled through Italy’s southern rivieras, from the Amalfi Coast to the volcanic Aeolian archipelago, capturing the slow pace of Italian summer. The limited-edition print collection – ‘Il Dolce Far Niente’, which translates as “the sweetness of doing nothing” – is a transportive study of southern Italy and an ode to the nostalgic spirit of an Italian summer.

Matilda Goad Hardware

The hardware selection from Matilda Goad is a pretty and fun take on what can feel like quite a bland but necessary category in the home. What she’s doing so well right now is mixing and matching her range, so you can create bespoke looks that work in a variety of rooms and interior styles. We’re loving the Bamboo handles in Putty and the brass backplates for added contrast.

Chatsworth x Cutter Brooks

Chatsworth and Cutter Brooks have launched a capsule collection of home accessories, soft furnishings and sleepwear based on an original heritage print discovered in the Chatsworth textile archive. The historic 1850s chintz, featuring a delicately hand-blocked ivy motif, forms part of a legacy of prints created over centuries for the Devonshire family. Having spent time in the textile archive, Laura Burlington turned to friend and collaborator Amanda Brooks, founder of Cotswold-based shop and lifestyle brand Cutter Brooks. Amanda has applied the print to table linens, cushions, lampshades, oven mitts, pyjamas, wallpaper and more, with help from artisans from India and the UK.

A Home For All Seasons

In this beautiful new book, Kay Prestney and Becca Cherry present stylish interiors alongside practical tips and inspiration. With a focus on how to create a comfortable, sustainable home that celebrates the natural world, each chapter is dedicated to one of the four seasons. In the spring, celebrate new beginnings: bring in blossom and plant bulbs in antique chinaware. Summer is the time to embrace outdoor living with sheer linens and lots of texture, while autumn brings the harvest as the nights draw in – embrace it with earthy tones, dried flowers and cosy furnishings. And in winter, candles, evergreen foliage and soft sheepskins bring light and much-needed warmth.

Mrs. Alice x Grace Hotel Auberge

The Santorini collection from Mrs. Alice has been designed as a love letter to the Greek island where Alice got engaged. There are four tablescapes in the collection: The Grace Tablescape is inspired by Grace Hotel Auberge’s Mediterranean vistas –look for rattan, rich blue linens, and crisp white details. The Aegean Tablescape is an ode to an endless summer, with deep blue and white shell crockery, linens and decorations. The serene Aphrodite Tablescape has a neutral palette of tan and crisp white,  and the Apollo Tablescape is a joyful Mediterranean table of lemon yellows and blues, perfectly accentuated by Grace Hotel’s crisp white walls.

Pooky Cordless Collection

Since the launch of its rechargeable table lamps a few years ago, the team at Pooky has been looking at new ways to make cordless lighting easier to use – which explains why it's just launched a new range of more than 20 cordless designs. With no need for fixed power sources, this allows total freedom in the home. So how does it work? The rechargeable element replaces the traditional lightbulb with a USB-C light-up cartridge called Genesis. With bases free of bulky batteries, the designs are now a lot more streamlined, allowing for wall lights as well as slimmer lamps. The Genesis has a 15-plus hour running time and takes five hours to charge fully.
