Duck Hoisin, £3 | Planted

Finally, a plant-based product that tastes like meat and doesn’t contain a long list of additives and preservatives. Vegan brand Planted creates ‘meat’ using only a few ingredients and has now launched a plant-based alternative to duck, made from peas, oats and sunflower – and fortified with vitamins. Fry the pieces in a little oil or cook in an air fryer for five or six minutes on a medium heat until caramelised and warmed through. Perfect for Asian-inspired dishes, try it with a dash of hoisin sauce in Chinese pancakes or a wrap.

Butter, 4 For £12.99 | All Things Butter

King of butter Thomas Straker has amassed over 2m followers on TikTok, partly thanks to his viral ‘All Things Butter series’, in which he creates decadent dishes using lots of – you guessed it – butter. Now, Straker and his best friend Toby Hopkinson have launched an organic butter brand. Available at Ocado, current flavours include Salted, Unsalted, Garlic & Herb, and Chilli. We recommend drizzling the latter over everything from noodles and pasta to grilled veg and seafood.

Marinade Seasoning | Mob x Flava It!

Mob has teamed up with seasoning brand Flava It! to create a range of sachets available exclusively at Aldi stores. Created to help you make affordable meals at home that are packed full of flavour, each sachet is inspired by one of Mob’s recipes from its platform and cookbooks. Packets contain ground spices and flavourings for dishes like honey and chorizo chilli con carne, creamy halloumi curry, and triple chilli pasta. We rate the pulled chicken taco spice mix, which includes dried chipotle chili, smoked paprika, cumin, coriander and ancho chilli for a quick midweek meal.

Bites Chocolate, £4.99 | Häagen-Dazs

When you fancy a sweet treat but don’t want pure ice-cream, Häagen-Dazs Bites are the perfect post-dinner snack. The ice-cream brand has turned its tubs into Salted Caramel Bites and Chocolate Bites. Imagine Häagen-Dazs ice-cream with a soft sauce centre, coated with chocolate and topped with roasted nuts. We like the chocolate flavour – a perfect sharing dessert when you don’t have time to cook for guests.

Hand Cooked Potato Crisps, £3.75 | Rustle

The team behind Pots & Co and Notto Pasta bars have branched out into luxury crisps. Having launched a couple of months ago, the brand has already won two Great Taste awards. Flavours include Sweet Pepper, Truffle and Green Jalapeño.
