No two mornings are ever the same in our house. If I haven’t been woken up at 3am by our one-year-old, I’ll start my morning by checking my phone. I know it’s not the healthiest habit, but it’s the reality of owning a global business. A lot can happen overnight across different time zones while I’m asleep.

Movement is so important to me. Between breakfast, doing lunches and getting everyone out the door, I often feel like I’ve run marathon before 8:30am. Whenever I can, I squeeze in a workout at home. The Peloton bike has been a game changer for me and I also follow workouts from Amy Carmody Movement. I don’t have time for gyms and a 30-minute session is all I need to feel strong and get myself into a good mindset for the day. I’m not loyal to any one brand but usually reach for lululemon and like to keep it really simple.

Treating post-partum melasma and hair loss have both been a focus in my routine. I take a Vida Glow Hairology beauty supplement every morning to reduce hair shedding and boost growth, as well as a Radiance capsule to reduce pigmentation. Living in Australia, sun exposure is constant, so I’m meticulous about applying SPF every morning. I’m currently using Ultra Violette Fave Fluid SPF50+ on top of the Sunday Riley Auto Correct Eye Cream and CEO Moisturiser

I like to keep my skincare simple. My supplement routine does a lot of the heavy lifting so I just use Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream every night after cleansing and three times a week I use the Biologique Recherche P50. I finish with a swipe of Lanolips. The original is the best.

I don’t believe in restricting myself. Instead, I focus on nutritious, high-quality food that I genuinely enjoy. Mornings are busy getting four kids ready for the day, so I usually opt for a protein-rich smoothie that’s quick and satisfying. I make it with a vegan vanilla protein powder, banana, berries, organic peanut butter, chia seeds and oats. If I have a bit more time, I love avocado on toast with goat’s cheese. And when I have no time at all, an oat cappuccino from The Boathouse down the road gets me through.

For lunch, there’s usually some form of lean protein with plenty of vegetables or salad. In the afternoon, when I’m commuting between the office and school pick-up, I’ll have a sachet of Collagen Liquid Advance. It contains a double dose of marine collagen, boosted with antioxidants and vitamin C. The berry flavour is a delicious, sweet treat, I can’t get enough.

I love to get out and go for a walk when I can. I’m so lucky to live in such a beautiful city and a walk along the harbour always clears my head and relaxes me, even with a baby and two Pomeranians in tow. With my schedule, a consistent appointment isn’t always possible but I’ll treat myself to a facial when I can and prefer non-invasive treatments like hydrodermabrasion or Omnilux to support collagen formation.

I believe in everything in moderation. Small habits done consistently have a big impact. This approach helps me feel well and energised throughout the day, but I’m never hard on myself. I’m never without a block of chocolate and if I need an extra coffee or piece of chocolate to get through the afternoon, I’ll have it.

My husband cooks. He’ll make a protein like fresh fish or chicken with vegetables. Unless I feel like a delicious pasta and then a lobster linguine or red sauce prawn fettucine is my go-to. If we’re going out, I love to eat Japanese and when I’m travelling, I always order a beef burger from room service, it’s the one thing nearly every hotel does so well. My husband is a cricket fanatic so it’s always on the TV in the background. With my kids getting a little bit older I’m enjoying watching the films I loved as a child with them. It creates a beautiful sense of nostalgia.

I like to be in bed by 10–10:30pm. Ideally, I’d get between seven and eight hours of sleep, but I don’t put pressure on myself to be perfect. I’ll take any sleep I can get. I have a chamomile tea with a sachet of our Natural Marine Collagen mixed in. It’s flavourless and heat stable, so it makes it easy to be consistent with supplementation while winding down for the day. I take De-Stress from our Women’s Health range. They burst-in-your mouth and taste so good! Plus, they contain a clinically studied active that’s known to ease feelings of stress almost instantly.

There’s always a Moleskin diary floating around that I use for journaling. I don’t use it every night, but I do believe in the law of attraction and writing things is an important part of that. I also love to read when I’m in bed. I use a Kindle and have just finished Barbra Streisand’s memoir, My Name Is Barbra. I find meditation helpful for clearing my mind and focusing on what’s important. I’m not great at it so I listen to the Insight Timer meditation app every night. It’s so calming I often wake up with my Air Pods lost somewhere in the bed.
