Strawberry Makeup
The Vibe: Sun-Kissed, Natural & Glossy
Made viral by Hailey Bieber, the strawberry make-up trend is all about blush and glow. Opt for a peachy pink blush to give the skin that sun-kissed look, while keeping the base natural and translucent. The key here is hydrating the skin before you apply a lightweight base – the more real the skin looks the better. If you fall on the oilier side, set your blusher with a mineral powder to keep things put.
Matcha Nails
The Vibe: Fresh & Subtle
Not sure what to ask for at your next nail appointment? Matcha nails are exactly what they say on the tin – a toned-down, mossy green colour which can be applied all over the nail or used as a French tip. If you’re painting them yourself, apply a layer of iridescent shimmer to give the look a fun twist.
Latte Makeup
The Vibe: Bronzed & Smokey
This trend focuses on the eyes but incorporates a bit of bronzer too. Tonal and natural, it involves blending a subtle brown shade out and onto the lids. Define the look using a brown kohl style liner to extend the lash line and finish with a deep brown mascara and a dusting of bronzer on the outer contours of the face. We recommend using your bronzer on your lids and face to play into the tonal look.
Cherry Cola Lips
The Vibe: Sultry, Defined & Balmy
Spearheaded by the rise of hip-hop and LA Latina culture in the 1990s, the cherry cola trend uses a darker lip liner to define and accentuate the lips, followed by a balmy tonal shade plus a glossy, hydrating layer to finish. It can be adapted for a range of skin tones – offering a more romantic, edgy take on a typical nude lip.
Ombré Concealer
The Vibe: Seamless & Romantic
This is more of a hack than a trend, but it achieves such a seamless look. TikTok creators dot three or four different shades of concealer under the eyes to colour correct. Start with a brightening concealer – typically a few shades lighter than your skin tone. Next, pop a peachy pink or more orange toned concealer on. Then, follow up with a cream blusher to cancel out any cool tones or veins under the eyes. When these various concealers are blended together, they not only colour correct but – like the name suggests – they create a blended, ombre-style finish that looks seamless and natural.
