Supergoop Shimmer Shades, $24

Supergoop’s clever Shimmer Shades are formulated with SPF 30 to give eyelids a subtle wash of colour, while protecting them from UV rays, too. They’re soft and velvety, without any chalky residue, while the colours themselves are long-wearing and lightweight – great for a daytime smokey eye. Apply them with your finger when time is of the essence, as the blendable texture glides on easily without ever creasing or flaking. They absorb excess oil too, setting into place fast and acting as a great base for any other formulas you’d like to apply – think deeper-toned colours, or rich, metallic shadows.

Fenty Beauty Body Sauce Highlighter, £40

If you’re worried about baring more skin this spring/summer, you’ll love this new launch from Fenty. Designed to blur imperfections and tint skin with light, even coverage, this new highlighter is like a liquid bronzer for your entire body. It has a gel-cream consistency that blends seamlessly, leaving behind a believable, sun kissed glow that looks healthy – never fake. Apply it with your hands or use a large, fluffy brush to buff it into the skin. Once it’s set, it won’t budge, but you’ll find it rinses off easily, so it’s ideal for tan phobes or those who don’t want to commit to something for longer than a day.

NARS Euphoria Face Dew, £25

We’re big fans of NARS’ new Face Dew. Multi-purpose, it’s a highlighter and blusher in one, lending skin a healthy, glossy sheen with no unnecessary glitter. Apply it directly onto the cheekbones, bridge of the nose and chin, or anywhere the light usually hits for extra definition. We love dabbing it onto eyelids, too, for a wet, dewy and on-trend finish. Likewise, tap it on top of any matte lipsticks for a 3D finish and plumping effect. A little goes a long way, so you don’t have to worry about using it up too quickly, either.

By Terry Brightening CC Palette Beach Bomb, £42

Whenever By Terry launches a palette, you can guarantee it's going to be popular, and their latest launch is no exception. Housing a brightening powder, colourful blush and rich bronzer in one easy-to-use compact, consider this a true one-stop-shop. You can wear the colours separate, or swirl them together and apply to the skin with a big, fluffy brush to bring some extra definition and warmth to your cheekbones. Despite the powdery texture, the dry down each shade lends the skin is glossy with a pretty sheen that goes the distance. We love the Golden Bronze especially for the sun-kissed finish it gives.

Davines Heart of Glass Sheer Glaze, £22.50

Hair glazes have become hugely popular over the past year. Designed to hydrate, smooth and protect, they’re great for this in-between period when you can’t visit any salons. Cue Davines latest launch, which is particularly effective on blonde hair. It uses botanical oils to boost strength and elasticity, while the glassy sheen naturally lightens hair to leave it looking brighter. Use seven to ten drops on towel dried hair, combing it through before styling properly for best results. The recyclable, plastic packaging is a bonus, too.

Klorane Sun Radiance Protective Oil, £11

A summer staple, this uses UVA and UVB filters to protect the hair against the damaging effects of the sun, as well as chlorine and salt. Apply it directly to dry strands before heading out or spritz it onto wet hair to give it an extra dose of moisture. Whichever way you choose to apply it, you’ll enjoy soft, silky results with extra shine, too. Great for those with coloured or highlighted hair.

Reverie Mare Mediterranean Sea Mist, £30

This new, does-it-all hair mist is designed for anyone looking to give their strands a bit of texture and grit. It uses botanical oils to hydrate and strengthen, while rice seed boosts volume to create a cool-girl wave that looks like you’ve just come out the sea. Try misting it into hair when it’s flipped upside down, then scrunch the formula in for a tousled effect. The vanilla, bergamot and lemon scent is a plus, too – think summer in a bottle.

CeraVe Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum, £17

It’s no secret we’re huge fans of CeraVe here at SheerLuxe, thanks to their affordable, yet effective, products. After launching in the UK with a concise and strong line, they’re now expanding it to include a new HA Serum. Set to be a bestseller, it has a jelly-esque texture that’s not only satisfying, but hugely hydrating, too. What’s more, it’s lightweight, so it sinks in fast, delivering moisture at speed, while ceramides (the brand’s cult ingredient) work hard to lock everything in. A moisturiser-serum hybrid, it suits all skin types – from sensitive to oily.

IsnTree Hyaluronic Acid Aqua Gel Cream, £16

If you’ve never heard of this Korean brand before, keep it on your radar. Their formulas are second to none, with nourishing ingredients that are proven to work. This Gel Cream is a firm favourite among fans, thanks to its ability to hydrate and simultaneously balance excess oil. Ideal for anyone suffering with acne and breakouts, but still wanting to maintain high levels of moisture within their skin, it’s also alcohol-free and non-comodegenic, so it never strips the skin or causes further inflammation or flare-ups.

Maya Njie Les Fleurs, £90

If you love floral fragrances, this one’s for you. Blending bergamot with magnolia and floral musks, it’s light and fresh – ideal for this time of year. Added fig and woodsy notes bring a unisex appeal to it, too, while the chic, paired back bottle wins out on aesthetics. A must-try for those who love the kind of niche scents that set you apart. When you can, post-lockdown, we recommend giving it a spritz in Liberty to get more of a feel for it.

Carolina Herrera Lip Liquid Velvet, £21

These new Lip Liquids promise better longevity – and they certainly deliver. Budge-proof, they dry down fast – you need to work quickly – with a rich, matte colour that stays put all day. But despite their long-lasting formula, they don’t feel dry or cakey, thanks to their hydrating texture. Amp up the colour by applying several coats, or mute it down by applying it with your finger. If you choose to do the latter, use your ring finger to push the product into the lip – this will give a plump, powdery effect that’s firmly on-trend right now.

Available At

iT Cosmetics Pillow Lips Solid Serum, £25

If you want something a little lighter, these new lip serums should be your port of call. Created using hyaluronic acid, jojoba oil, shea butter and castor seed oil, they deliver lasting hydration with a soft hint of glossy colour. The texture itself is more like a balm – non-sticky – but has the longevity of a lipstick, so you get the best of both worlds. Great for everyday wear, the shades are flattering and wearable, too – we love ‘Wistful’ for a warm, soft nude and ‘Moment’ for a richer coat of colour.

BOG Skincare Hydrate & Revitalise Mask, £12

If you don’t have lots to spend this month, but want a quick fix for your skin, opt for this new, biodegradable sheet mask from BOG. Designed to treat dryness and irritation, it uses anti-inflammatory bilberry extract and hyaluronic acid to reduce puffiness, dark spots and shrink enlarged pores. The results are temporary – like with any sheet mask – but incredibly satisfying, nonetheless. You’ll find your make-up and other products glide on far easier post-use, thanks to the silky-smooth canvas it leaves behind.

Use it on the skin with a medium pressure, moving it in circular motions around the cheekbones, forehead and jawline to alleviate any unwanted tension. While it won’t give you razor sharp cheekbones overnight, it will stimulate fresh blood flow underneath, bringing a rosy, fresh flush to the skin that lasts the entire day. Hello Klean #ShowerSmart Filter, £39

This is one of those products you never knew you needed until you incorporated it into your regime. Designed to attach seamlessly to your shower head, it works to get rid of hard water, which is known to prevent your shampoo from lathering up properly and in turn, stopping it from removing any product build-up on your scalp. This clever head captures minerals that can dry your skin out, and it also filters out bacteria, impurities and chlorine to improve water flow so you get smoother, softer hair – as well as skin. The design balances your shower water’s pH levels, too, keeping mould and odours at bay. In short, it’s a real staple – especially for anyone with frizzy hair or oily roots – you’ll notice the difference immediately.
