01

Teddy Bear Brunette

“This shade blends the warm, soft tones of ‘bronde’ with the richness of brunette, mimicking the cosy hues of a teddy bear’s fur. While creating depth and natural dimension, it’s also perfect for those looking to move away from high-maintenance blondes, suiting a wide-range of skin tones but especially flattering for those with medium-to-olive skin and lighter eyes.” – Anna Wiig, creative colour director at Taylor Taylor London Shoreditch

“Ask for a warm, dimensional brunette with a soft blend of golden highlights. Let your stylist know you’re after a ‘bronde’ effect, where the golden tones aren’t too stark but add depth to your overall brunette base. To keep the warmth and shine intact, use a sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner designed for coloured hair. Regularly deep condition your locks to maintain softness and I’d recommend going for a glossing treatment every couple of months to keep those golden highlights looking fresh.” – Dean Harris, colourist at Larry King Marylebone

Mocha Mousse

“Reminiscent of a chocolate-coffee blend, Mocha Mousse is a rich, deep brown with cool undertones. It’s intense yet versatile, balancing out warmer undertones in the skin with its cool depth. At the salon, request a glossy finish to achieve that coveted high-shine effect. Incorporate a shine-boosting serum or a hair gloss every few weeks to preserve that smooth, mirror-like finish.” – Dean

“Ask your stylist for a rich espresso base with finely woven chocolate highlights to add dimension. To keep it looking fresh, invest in a hydrating hair mask and a colour-protecting serum to maintain the glossy depth. For shampoo and conditioner, I rate the Alchemic Chocolate range by Davines.” – Anna

03

Cinnamon Brown

“Combining the richness of deep brunette with warm, coppery undertones, this shade has a cosy, sun-kissed feel. You want to request a caramel brunette base with softly blended copper and toffee highlights for that sunlit dimension. Cinnamon Brown is ideal for those hesitant to fully commit to bold copper and the warmth in this colour pairs beautifully with lighter olive skin tones – Jessica Alba is the perfect reference point for this look.” – Anna

“Cinnamon Brown flatters those with warm or neutral undertones in their skin, particularly those with medium-to-fair complexions. It enhances green, brown, and hazel eyes, making them appear brighter and more vibrant. Since red tones tend to fade faster, invest in a colour-depositing shampoo to keep the red vibrant. A moisturizing hair mask every couple of weeks will help keep hair soft and shiny, preventing the warm tones from looking too dull over time.” – Dean

04

Lacquer Black

“This jet-black shade is the kind of colour that looks almost wet, and it’s that high-shine element that makes your hair look vibrant and alive. Zendaya has rocked this shiny, sleek shade, highlighting its versatility and glamorous edge. Tell your colourist you’re after a rich black with depth, not a flat shade, and maximum shine.” – Dean

“Lacquer Black is versatile, suiting fair-to-deep skin tones, depending on your undertone, and pairs strikingly well with light or jewel-toned eyes. Ask your colourist for a pure black dye with a gloss treatment – this will create that shine. To maintain, a nourishing hair oil will combat any dullness.” – Anna

05

Cherry Cola

“Scarlet, garnet and Cowgirl Copper were all headline grabbers in 2024, but this year it’s all about a more sophisticated blend of brunette with a touch of red, toffee or copper. The beauty of this shade is that it creates a rich, glossy and multi-dimensional look and feels as though it's part of a shift towards healthier hair.” – Anna

“This is a warm, brown-red shade that mixes the richness of cola with the deep vibrancy of cherry. It’s the perfect balance for anyone who loves a red hue but wants something a bit more understated. Dua Lipa is the perfect example, her Cherry Cola shade pops without being overpowering. Ask your colourist for a rich, dark red-brown shade with a cola base and cherry undertones. Since reds can fade quickly, use a colour-depositing shampoo or conditioner to keep the vibrancy alive. Regularly treat your hair with a hydrating mask to ensure it stays shiny and soft and avoid excessive heat styling to prevent further colour fade.” – Dean

06

Vanilla Blonde

“Vanilla Blonde channels the creamy, soft highlights of the 90s but with a modern twist, featuring finer, root-to-tip highlights for a natural, sun-kissed look. This shade works well for light-to-medium skin tones and pairs beautifully with blue or green eyes. Celebrities like Margot Robbie have recently embraced this trend, showcasing its subtle, yet striking elegance.” – Anna

“This creamy shade has an almost platinum finish. Light, airy, and fresh, it’s perfect for those who want a blonde that isn’t too icy but still has that cool, clean look. At the salon, ask for a cool, creamy blonde with soft platinum undertones. To keep the colour looking bright, try the Larry King Wash Cycle – it’s a set of four different shampoo formulas for you to rotate depending on your hair’s needs that day.”  – Dean
