This is one of our favourite SPF launches for 2023. As it’s an oil, it’s easy to apply with a lightweight, velvety consistency that absorbs fast and never feels sticky. It leaves skin with a glossy sheen that helps limbs to look healthy and smooth, while its anti-ageing, cellular protection blocks UVA and UVB damage. Like all the brand’s SPFs, the formula has just three UV filters to reduce the risk of allergy, and like others, it's been carefully created to ensure it’s not toxic to the marine ecosystem. The packaging for the entire SPF range has been streamlined too, in order to make it more sustainable. Case in point, this oil has a new on/off pump system that nullifies the need for plastic caps. We also love that it’s non-comedogenic, so it won’t ever clog up your pores or cause breakouts, while the water-resistant formula keeps you protected for longer – though we recommend regularly topping up every two hours.

Huile Prodigieuse, £32
When you think of body oils, Nuxe is a name that should instantly spring to mind. A cult classic, this multipurpose hero can be used on the face, body and hair. It’s formulated with a nourishing blend of vitamin E and seven botanical oils, including camellia, hazelnut, borage, argan, sweet almond and macadamia. Melting Sun Cream SPF30 & SPF50, £22
Available in factors 30 and 50, this SPF is just like a normal moisturiser, but with added protection, making it ideal for daily use. As the name suggests, it melts into your skin and quickly hydrates with ingredients like jojoba seed oils and fruit extracts. You'll also find rice and rosemary extracts inside, both of which are known for their anti-ageing benefits. It dries down fast and gives your skin a mattified appearance, so make-up glides on top of it easily. Carob extract helps to naturally enhance the tanning process. It’s gentle too – it won’t clog up your skin or sting your eyes like some formulas can.

Huile Prodigieuse Shimmer, £32
Want a glow without the colour? This is the oil for you. It has all the same benefits of the original Huile Prodigieuse, but with tiny flecks of champagne-toned, mineral pearls. Buff onto your face or body for a dewy, glass-like radiance that lasts. Even better, unlike some glow givers, the formula softens and moisturises skin in the process. For your face and areas like your chest and décolletage, we recommend applying the oil with a brush for more precision. For your body, mist it on and work it in with your hands for even, smooth results. Just like the original, you can use a little in your hair too – the shimmer will catch the light nicely.
