THE CHRISTMAS CAMPAIGN:
Chanel Winter Constellation
For the 2025 festive season, the Chanel make-up creation studio has teamed up with Cécile Paravina to create a campaign – and collection of make-up – that celebrates the beauty of the celestial sphere. Inspired by the vibrant contrasts of the night sky, Chanel’s Holiday 2025 make-up collection tells the story of a year’s end – and ‘an ending that heralds a radiant new beginning’. Five of Coco Chanel’s treasured talismans – the lion, the comet, the camellia, stalks of wheat and pearls – have been reimagined in shimmering tones. The complexion, eyes and lips have all been illuminated with magnetic, light-catching accents – think cosmic grey and metallic orange, midnight blue and red chrome.

THE RESTAURANT:
Trogolo
Trogolo is a new Tuscan bar and trattoria from Lara Boglione and Giovanni Mazzei, the duo behind Petersham Nurseries. Opening on 11th November in Westbourne Grove, Trogolo is all about ‘bold flavours, natural wines and warm hospitality’. The name Trogolo, Italian for ‘trough’, recalls the communal stone basins found across Tuscany and hints at the restaurant’s unfussy, Florentine cooking, shaped by Lara's passion for seasonality. The wine list is drawn from Giovanni's Tuscan roots, shaped by over five centuries of family winemaking.
