Supper clubs are having a moment and Claridge’s is tapping into the trend. In partnership with the Good Food Guide, the iconic Mayfair hotel is hosting a series of exclusive dinners starting this September. Top chefs from across the UK will take over Claridge’s kitchen for one night only, celebrating British cuisine at its best. Kicking off on 25th September is Simon Attridge, Claridge’s culinary director, followed by stars like Gareth Ward of Ynyshir, Roberta Hall-McCarron from the Little Chartroom, and Elly Wentworth of the Angel. With just 14 seats at L’Epicerie – the hotel’s chef’s table – tickets start at £475.

Bath Fashion Festival

Bath is set to host its inaugural Bath Fashion Festival (BFF) on 21st and 22nd September at the Holburne Museum & Gardens. The two-day event will showcase global and local fashion talent, featuring a catwalk, pop-up shops, interactive experiences and panel discussions on fashion trends and sustainability. The latter will be a key focus, with talks and workshops aimed at promoting eco-friendly fashion practices.

Toklas Bakery Harvest Festival

Toklas Bakery is hosting its first Harvest Festival, which includes an all-day market and ticketed workshops. Running from 10am to 3pm, the market will showcase top seasonal producers like Pyscis Conserves, Bold Bean Co, Biskut Bar and Bobo Wines. Visitors can also shop fresh fruit and vegetables from Shrub, with a focus on sustainability and ethical brands like Different Kind. Plus, fermentation expert Jeanne Kessira will lead lactic fermentation workshops, where attendees can make sauerkraut to take home – tickets for those are £30. If that’s not enough, the much-loved bakery will be debuting new autumn pastries, including apple and blackberry hand pies, apple spandauers and sour cherry swirls. Entry is free, and guests are encouraged to bring non-perishable goods for donation to the Felix Project.

One of the biggest names in beauty, L’Oréal Paris is hosting its largest-ever event in central London from 19th to 23rd September. Taking over Piccadilly, this five-day extravaganza includes masterclasses, beauty stations and panel talks with stars like Rochelle Humes, Zara McDermott and Val Garland. On Monday 23rd at 7:30pm, don't miss the live stream of L’Oréal’s Paris Fashion Week show on the Piccadilly Lights, featuring Cara Delevingne, Viola Davis and Simone Ashley. Karan Gokani & Owen Seamark at Heckfield Place

Heckfield Place – the Hampshire countryside retreat 75 minutes from London – is hosting a one-off event on 26th September. Karan Gokani of Hoppers (London’s finest South Asian mini chain) will join forces with Owen Seamark, head chef of Hearth at Heckfield Place. Combining South Asian culinary traditions with Hearth’s open-fire cooking and ingredients from the on-site kitchen garden, the menu includes slow smoked lamb leg varuval, mussel hodi – a Sri Lankan take on moules marinière – and curry leaf and turmeric potatoes. The evening costs £95, with a welcome drink on arrival, and £5 from each ticket going towards the Feeding the Future charity.

This new exhibition gives viewers a glimpse into the inner life and workings of one of the most prominent artists of the 20th century. Billy Name and William John Kennedy were part of Warhol’s inner circle, and through their mainly black and white photography, the two can now offer a unique insight into the artist’s life, the famous Silver Factory studio space, his entourage and the vibrant New York pop art scene of the 1960s.

A pioneer in sustainable eating, Simon Rogan is bringing his farm-to-fork ethos to Uber Eats. The owner of three Michelin star restaurants – L’Enclume and Aulis are just two – has collaborated on a special meal with the delivery company. Consisting of five courses, the menu features produce from Simon’s farm in the Cartmel Valley and the surrounding countryside. To celebrate a decade of Spring – Somerset House’s in-house eatery – Skye Gyngell will collaborate with top-name chefs on exclusive ‘Scratch’ lunches. These menus highlight the importance of reducing food waste by using daily kitchen offcuts. First, Skye will team up with British pastry chef and author, Ravneet Gill on Saturday 21st September. The following month on 26th October, chef and content creator Julius Roberts will step into the kitchen, followed by Melissa Hemsley on 9th November to finish the series. A portion of proceeds will go to The Felix Project.
