My motto when getting dressed is to keep it cool and simple. It’s always best to let quality and the fit guide the way. My trousers are mostly wide leg and casual, and for a look like this, all you need are flip flops and a raffia bag.
A crisp white shirt goes with everything but this one has a more interesting silhouette. With padded shoulders and extra-long sleeves, it looks great with cargos and a clutch bag – it’s all about nailing the balance between smart and cool.
I’m a big stripes person and these trousers are so easy to wear. Less is more, so I typically pair them with a basic bandeau top and some simple jewellery – but you could also try a white tee or a shirt.
This is an outfit I rely on a lot when I’m out. The base is an oversized striped suit. Underneath, a basic t-shirt and shirt from ARKET are all you need to nail that layered look. To edge things up, a cap is the perfect finishing touch.
This look is all about that laid-back feel. A lightweight silk set can be worn for any occasion, day or night. Just change up the accessories and footwear depending on where you’re going. A raffia clutch in the evening with some bold jewellery is my go-to look.
