Everything Billie’s Loving Right Now
1. The High-Street Hero
COS always does excellent knitwear but I particularly love the layered shawl element to this merino cashmere jumper. That detail will add instant interest to a monochrome outfit.
2. The Winter Jacket
I run hot, so while I love the idea of an enveloping winter coat, the reality is I want to ditch it after ten minutes. I am much more of a jacket girl and I’ve fallen hard for this dark leather number from the adidas Originals x ASOS collab. The high funnel neck offers protection from the elements, you can pull it in for a cinched look and its deceptively warm.
3. The Everyday Shoe
Suede moccasins are having a moment and I understand the hype – they work so well with jeans and tailored trousers. This dark chocolate suede pair from Mango look are smart enough for the office too.
4. The Easy Trainers
I’m not brave enough to wear a ‘sneakerina’ but this is an Asics pair I can get on board with. The cooler cousin to the New Balance 530, the trainer has a grown-up feel to it. I’ll be wearing mine on all my hot girl walks, to run errands and under wide-leg jeans.
5. The Cord Bag
Who knew a cord bag would be so high on my wish list? Well, TOTEME will do that to you. An investment yes, but a beautiful piece to carry you from winter through to spring and beyond.
6. The Versatile Co-Ord
I just bought this grey bouclé co-ord from ASOS ARRANGE (this collection makes up the bulk of my wardrobe) and it’s cosy and cool. Worn together, it’s perfect for the plane but you could also wear them as separates with jeans and shirting.
7. The Workout Gear
When it comes to workout kit, I have a formula that nails support, comfort and style. My leggings are always the lululemon Wunder Train – they hold my body so well and never slip. For sports bras, Adanola gets my vote and for workout tees, I like anything vintage from the men’s section.
8. The Workwear Formula
I have quite a fuss-free approach to workwear because my time management in the morning isn’t the best. In the warmer months, I will always opt for a throw-on dress dressed up with smart accessories and in the winter, I lean towards jeans and a jumper with a great coat or jacket.
9. The Aviator Sunglasses
The rounded aviator shape we saw last the summer is going nowhere and this tortoise shell pair from Jimmy Fairly are a perfect take on the trend. They’re not so statement that they become comical but are still directional and fashion forward.
10. The Denim
I meant it when I said ASOS ARRANGE makes up the bulk of my wardrobe – I can’t get enough of the barrel-leg jeans. From indigo denim with a contrast stitch to washed blue to beige and brown zebra-print, the offering is broad and the fit is impeccable. The denim moulds to your body without the need for stretch and they’re high-waisted enough to elongate my 5”5 frame.
11. The Investment Piece
I’m calling it: it’s the year of the Andiamo. A worthwhile investment in its classic form, I love this pistachio green as a soft colour pop against a tonal outfit.
12. The Beauty Essential
I never get more compliments on my skin than when I’m wearing the Lisa Eldridge Seamless Skin Enhancing Tint. Before I discovered it, I was a full-coverage foundation wearer but I have been totally converted. Offering medium coverage for a range of tones and undertones, it glides onto skin, delivering instant glow that lasts all day.
13. The Beauty Tool
I am not the most consistent with LED masks but I am desperate to try the Shark Beauty Depuffi Contrast Therapy Sculpting Tool – it looks very low effort-maximum impact.
14. The Skincare Hero
Creme De La Mer’s Treatment Lotion is my skin prep holy grail. A key step that often gets overlooked is a pre-lotion or essence but it prepares the skin for maximum absorption of any products that follow. A little goes a long way with this – you need just a couple of drops – so a full-sized bottle normally lasts me the best part of six months.
15. The Elevated Scent
Diptyque’s Les Essences collection includes the house’s most luxurious scents and it doesn’t get more decadent than Rose Roche. I’m typically not a floral fragrance fan but this rose-based scent is intoxicating. Inspired by ‘the winds that shape the desert sands’ think of it as a spicy take on a classic.
16. The Must-Listen Podcast
SPILL is the podcast I co-host with my childhood best friend. Together, we host very candid conversations about life in your 20s and 30s, spanning everything from relationships to friendships, careers to body image and self-worth. In a sea of social media that rewards perfection, we give you real insights into the messiest parts of life.
17. The Wellness Hack
I finally understood the benefits of infrared sauna when I was in Bali, specifically how good it is for boosting circulation and overall health. Yours is an infrared Pilates studio with locations in Shoreditch, Hackney Wick and Marbella – and I’m determined to give it a go.
18. The Travel Plans
I am heading off to Finland to explore Norvajärvi, Lapland via Skyra Retreat. The only cold-weather trip I’ve been on is skiing when I was young, so I’m so excited to experience something different – plus, I’m really hoping to see the Northern Lights.
