What’s New In In The Watches & Jewellery World
THE UPDATED TIMEPIECE
Chanel
First created in 1987, the Chanel Première was the House’s first watch – instantly recognisable thanks to its octagonal case inspired by the N°5 fragrance bottle and supple chain-interlaced leather bracelet, a nod to the iconic quilted bag. For 2026, the signature style arrives in two new versions, including the Première Iconic Chain Golden Brown. The warm, luminous shade dresses the leather ribbon for the first time, complemented by a golden lacquered sunburst dial and yellow gold-plated steel case – a quietly sophisticated update inspired by one of Gabrielle Chanel’s most-loved colour palettes.

THE NEW MINI
DeBeers
Jewellery doesn’t get much more timeless than the DeBeers Lotus collection and the latest additions make it even easier to wear. The new, smaller Lotus designs offer a more delicate take on the signature motif, designed to be worn solo or layered with existing pieces for an effortless, contemporary look. Available as 9mm pendants in rose, white and yellow gold, alongside chain bracelets in rose and white gold, they’re ideal for building a personalised stack. There’s also a smaller 7mm Lotus featured on new cord bracelets, available exclusively online, plus Lotus stud earrings and a classic band ring. With different sizes and metals to mix and match, the collection feels inherently modern – but with that distinctive DeBeers finish that makes each piece feel special.

Crafted in white, yellow and rose gold, the collection brings together sculptural forms and diamond brilliance, with the Signature Chain Necklace offering a distinctive take on the house’s bold, modern aesthetic. Capturing the instinctive style of Los Angeles, the collection is framed by golden light, palm trees and poolside reflections.

THE ICON REINVENTED
Van Cleef & Arpels
Since its debut in 1968, Van Cleef & Arpels’ Alhambra has become an enduring symbol of luck, instantly recognisable for its four-leaf clover motif. Now, the iconic collection enters a new chapter with the introduction of a vibrant, translucent pink enamel, developed over several years in the maison’s workshops. Inspired by the historic ‘gold-ruby’ technique, the enamel gets its distinctive colour from fine gold particles, while tiny bubbles within the material create depth, movement and a subtle sparkle. Set against yellow or guilloché gold, the new enamel brings a fresh, contemporary dimension to one of the brand’s most celebrated designs.

THE SPACE
Liberty
Liberty has unveiled The Fashion Jewellery Gallery, a new first-floor space dedicated to contemporary jewellery and emerging design talent. Bringing together 37 brands, you can explore new names like Copenhagen-based Kinraden, Antwerp-founded Wouters & Hendrix and French brand Gas Bijoux, alongside 11 exclusive labels. Distinct from the Ground Floor jewellery hall, which celebrates classic fine jewellery and timeless heirlooms, the focus of The Fashion Jewellery Gallery is on expressive, wearable pieces – jewellery to layer, style and live in, rather than reserve just for special occasions.

THE CAMPAIGN MUSE
Chopard x Bella Hadid
Supermodel Bella Hadid stars alongside Liu Wen in Chopard’s new campaign celebrating 50 years of its iconic Happy Diamonds collection. Directed by Manu Cossu and choreographed by Stephen Galloway, the film showcases the new Happy Sport The First watch – a reissue of the 1993 design – alongside a series of rectangular Happy Diamonds pendants in white, yellow and rose gold. Both feature the collection’s signature loose diamonds, which move freely between panes of sapphire crystal. First introduced in 1976, the design was inspired by light dancing across a waterfall, with Chopard’s artistic director Caroline Scheufele describing its philosophy as: ‘diamonds are happier when they are free.’

THE CONTEMPORARY ADDITION
Nada Ghazal
Nada Ghazal’s latest collection, Whispers of Joy, explores the lighter side of emotion through fluid, sculptural 18ct gold jewellery. Rings, cuffs, chokers and earrings are finished with sapphires, pearls and diamonds, bringing colour and movement to the collection’s organic forms. Created between London and her Beirut atelier, it’s a quietly optimistic study in finding beauty – and moments of joy – wherever they appear.

The COLLAB
Jessica McCormack x L’Objet
L’OBJET has unveiled an exclusive collaboration with jewellery designer Jessica McCormack, translating the language of fine jewellery into beautifully crafted objects for the home. United by a shared appreciation for traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design, Elad Yifrach and Jessica McCormack apply techniques such as hand-sculpting and fine metalwork to porcelain and metal. Inspired by the sea, shells, spirals and marine ropes, the collection spans art de la table and vanity pieces – including L’OBJET’s first cutlery set – united by a fluid twisted corde motif and finished with hand-painted 24K gold details.
