E-Cloth General Purpose Cloth, £5

Not only do these cloths help to eliminate thick grease and dirt from hard surfaces with just water – no chemicals required – the microfibres work to remove over 99% of bacteria in the process. Safe and efficient to use on all worktops, they can also be used to remove marks and dust from walls, and even work on glass for a streak-free clean. Just wet the cloth with warm water, wring out the excess, and start wiping. In between uses, rinse them with warm water and hang dry, or machine wash in hot water weekly.

“Reusable microfibre cloths are soft and keep their shape. Then, when you’re done cleaning, toss them into the washing machine – just keep them separate from your loads of regular clothes, as clothing fibres can get trapped within the microfibre and make them less effective.” – the Molly Maid team
