Created in partnership with cocktail bible Difford’s Guide, the ‘Mix Me A Margarita’ bundle will arrive with almost everything you need to enjoy the nation’s favourite lockdown cocktail, as well as a paint-by-numbers set to keep you entertained in the final few weeks of lockdown.
The margarita has climbed the ranks of popular cocktails in the UK over the past year. Created when Dallas socialite Margaret Sames mixed her two favourite spirits – Cointreau triple sec and tequila – together with lime juice while holidaying in Acapulco back in 1948, the original recipe has stood the test of time. Inspired by this story, the paint-by-numbers kit will transport customers away to warmer climes through its immersive activity.
The set is available to buy from Difford’s Guide and comes with almost everything you need to start creating your margarita at home. 2 Cointreau rocks glasses
Cointreau lime squeezer
1 tin of Maldon salt
8 fresh limes
How To Make The Ultimate Margarita
Rub the rim of the glass with a fresh lime wheel, then add salt.
Combine all ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker.
Shake and strain into the ice-filled salt rimmed glass.
Garnish with a lime wheel.
