THE ROW; REFORMATION; THE HERO

Dear readers,

In a TikTok brainstorm last week, the team suggested we film something about how each of us got our jobs. I think they meant the past experiences that got us there, but I took it more literally and revealed that my SheerLuxe cover letter was a poem. It would take a lot of tequila to get me to dig it out now, but it did make me think about bold moves – doing something a little differently and how often that reaps the biggest rewards.

I’d like to think that’s generally been our approach at SheerLuxe – tearing up the rule book and doing something fresh. Perhaps it’s why M&S has chosen us as its only media partner to launch a major new collection this week – the most exciting high-street collab we’ve seen for years – and why we had such a wonderful reception in Manchester when we visited last month; if you haven’t already seen our BTS from the trip, it’s well worth a watch, especially if you’ve missed our long-form YouTube content. In addition, hopefully you’ve discovered our latest TikTok series, where we follow the team for a day – from meetings to lunch to what we’re wearing, it’s the latest way to get a behind-the-scenes glimpse at life in the office.

I’d like to think that’s generally been our approach at SheerLuxe – TEARING UP THE RULE BOOK AND DOING SOMETHING FRESH. Perhaps it’s why M&S has chosen us as its only media partner to launch [...] THE MOST EXCITING HIGH-STREET COLLAB we’ve seen for years.

We’re also thrilled to be partnering with Royal Ascot this year (my search for a hat starts now) as well as Polo in the Park, Pub in the Park and Taste of London. The UK really does show off in June, and it’s a joy to be involved in so many key moments. It’s also wedding season, so we’ve tapped Georgie Le Roux – the founder of Gigi & Olive, the chicest bridal merch destination – to take over the SL Community this week. Whether you’re planning for next year or next week, she’s the girl to solve your big day dilemmas.

Speaking of weddings, this month marks my five-year anniversary and we’ll be congratulating ourselves over lunchtime martinis and ribeye at Dorian. However, this local favourite might be about to have its crown toppled by The Hero, the latest launch from The Pelican and The Bull, Charlbury team – last night’s supper was a feast of melting cheese toasties, juicy beef ribs and lightly battered cod, washed down with ice cold rosé. And finally, my shopping list is currently overflowing with ditsy white dresses from Reformation, a show-stopping bow miniskirt from Bernadette and, this will be seriously divisive, jelly shoes – see The Row and Ancient Greek Sandals. I told you, I’m all about making bold choices.

Have a wonderful June,
