@TheRealReal

Dear readers,

I know it’s boring when other people tell you how busy they are, so I don’t want to dwell on what September has been like at SL – but I can’t quite believe what our team has achieved in the past four weeks. Our Molly-Mae cover shoot alone felt like a seismic moment – we had been toying with launching cover stars for a few months, but it had to be someone whose face hadn’t already been splashed over other magazines and who, naturally, had a serious digital footprint. Molly-Mae proved to be the perfect candidate, and from the social content to the creative, there’s something in the takeover for everyone.

It has, of course, also been fashion month. If you haven’t caught up with our taxi antics in London or our jam-packed few days in Paris, it’s all over on our TikTok and Instagram accounts – the latter of which just hit 500k followers this week. I remember when our small team of 12 was so excited to hit 10k – this milestone has given me more reason than ever to be proud of our hard-working team.

SHOPPING HAULS ARE BAKED INTO OUR DNA, and what better way to evolve the concept than to partner with TikTok to MAKE IT EVEN BIGGER AND BETTER? Tune in tonight from 5.30pm.

Never ones to rest on our laurels, however, October is full of exciting things. The podcast set has had a major makeover and is now the perfect cosy, stylish space to reflect our content. It ushers in a new era for the SL podcast network – from glossier branding to fun guests to juicy dilemmas, you’ll notice some changes over the month ahead which will make it more unmissable than ever.

Shopping hauls are baked into our DNA, and what better way to evolve the concept than to partner with TikTok to make it even bigger and better? Tune in tonight from 5.30pm to watch myself and the fashion team talk through autumn’s high-street heroes, claim discounts on key brands, get free shipping on everything and even win prizes. Plus, the LuxeGens have a fun launch next week which puts them in the same league as Hailey Bieber and Sofia Richie – keep your eyes peeled (and your tastebuds ready) for something major coming to the UK throughout October.

Personally, I’ve binged both a book and a TV show in the last week – Evenings And Weekends by Oisín McKenna is a beautiful, devastating love letter to London and Nobody Wants This is the heavenly romantic comedy series that Seth Cohen stans will die over. It’s been a whole nine months since I was last in New York, so I’m off to the Big Apple next week to eat my way around the city, but also to squeeze in some work – I’ll be investigating some of the coolest wardrobes in the tri-state area for the SL Show. But mostly, I’m just excited to go back to my heaven on earth, the Real Real, and see what pre-loved goodies I can score – keep you posted.

Have a great October,
