The Buzziest Pop-Up To Know About This Weekend

If cycling through the capital and making a pit-stop at a bakery sounds like the perfect activity, you're not alone – new research suggests one in three Londoners queue for pastries every weekend. To make this ritual even more fun, Lime has created its very own ride-thru pop-up with one of London’s most in-demand bakeries – for a limited time only. Here’s everything you need to know…

Created in partnership with LIME

The Event

Pints are out, pastries are in – new research conducted by Lime shows that Londoners are shunning boozy get-togethers for catch-ups over coffee and croissants. In fact, 30% of those surveyed said they would queue for up to 40 minutes to get their hands on a pastry from one their favourite bakeries.

This weekend, Lime is launching the UK’s first-ever ride-thru bakery, offering a unique way to beat the queues. From Friday 6th until Sunday 8th of September, Lime bike riders will be able to grab a complimentary artisan coffee from Notions coffee, and lime-flavoured pastry designed and baked by in-demand bakery Pophams. The treats will be served from a custom service hatch at the Lime-thru Bakery pop-up at Protein Studios in Shoreditch.

Address: Protein Studios, 31 New Inn Yard, EC2A 3EY

The Details

Frequent riders will know that LimePass makes it even more affordable to ride with Lime, making it the best way to check out the Lime-thru Bakery. You can pick and choose the best minute bundle based on your plans that day, week or month... from 30 mins to 400 mins. LimePass also gives you free unlocks and cheaper rides than paying per minute – saving you at least 62%. Plus, they've introduced a new feature that means riders can now add minutes to their current pass before it expires.

Get Involved

The easiest (and most scenic) way to get around London is on the back of a Lime bike and you’ll be in good company if you do: Harry Styles, Leo Woodall and Olivia Rodrigo have all been spotted on the famous green bikes in recent months. If you’re yet to try it, the company’s e-bikes and e-scooters help riders to be tourists in their own city and avoid traffic. With a growing presence in the city, you can be sure that there will be one nearby. All you need to do is sign up for an account and find your nearest ride.
