Dreamsake
Dreamsake is the latest addition to the clean-drinking movement, offering a smooth, all-natural sake crafted in Hyōgo, Japan – the birthplace of premium sake. Its first product, Daiginjo No.1, is brewed using polished rice, koji and pure water, resulting in a velvety texture with delicate notes of melon, honey and grapefruit. With no sulphites, additives or preservatives, and with five times more umami than wine, it pairs with everything from sushi to pizza.

Blue Turaco Coffee
Blue Turaco is the UK’s first smallholder farmer-owned coffee brand, and it's hitting Tesco shelves on 26th May. Founded by Wycliffe Sande, who began life picking coffee in Uganda, the brand only uses 100% speciality Robusta beans. With twice the caffeine of Arabica, and a bold, nutty flavour, Blue Turaco’s coffee is strong, flavoursome and smooth. Best of all, the brand pays its farmers on average 30% more than traditional trade routes, with a portion of profits sent back to Ugandan village schools to help pay for meals.

August Bakery
London’s obsession with independent bakeries continues. The latest opening to have on your radar is August on Battersea Rise. What began as a micro-bakery in a Putney flat (delivering sourdough by cargo bike) has evolved into a café and bakehouse where round-the-block queues speak to the quality of the baked goods. Expect laminated pastries, sourdough loaves and a rotating menu of seasonal bakes, all made from organic and regeneratively farmed ingredients.

Trulli Ulivi Olive Oil
Straight from centuries-old groves in southern Italy, Trulli Ulivi extra virgin olive oil has just landed in the UK for the first time. Cold-pressed in Puglia at peak ripeness, it’s a vivid green with a fresh, peppery kick that mellows into something softer and more rounded over time. The brainchild of hospitality pros Tony and Maureen Papas – the duo behind Allpress Espresso – the project is all about seasonality and quality. Working with local farmers, they’ve revived the land at Masseria Borzone to produce a standout oil. Use it in dressings, over warm bread – or even drizzled on vanilla ice-cream.
