7.30am

I usually wake up around 7:30am – that’s the gold standard. I use a Lumie alarm clock, so I wake up gradually with the light. I like the softest wake-up possible; I can’t bear a harsh alarm. I’d love to say I don’t check my phone straight away but I do. I’m trying to get better at leaving it in the living room but if I’m expecting emails from the US overnight, I’ll keep it by the bed so I can check my messages first thing. Then I’ll make my matcha – coconut milk, a little agave and my Smeg frother. It’s my daily ritual.

7.45am

I like my mornings quiet. No podcasts or TV, just time to think about the day ahead. I'll jump in the shower around 7:45am and I can spend ages in there. My favourite shower gel is VERDEN’s Arborealist Hand & Body Wash – it has a gorgeous orange scent. I never use face wash in the morning, just water and a hypoallergenic cloth. Afterwards, I apply the Mixsoon Centella Asiatica Essence, Synergie Skin EnLighten Brightening SerumDrunk Elephant eye cream and Tatcha’s Dewy Skin moisturiser. Then, it’s a quick layer of Supergoop! SPF50 before I leave the house. I love my skincare routine; it sets me up for the day.

8.45am

I don’t eat breakfast – I just have my matcha and that’s it. I like to feel put-together, even if I’m in the edit all day. I’ll wear something comfortable but smart like Stella McCartney tailored trousers and a TOTEME shirt. I love COS staples and Victoria Beckham slouchy pants are another go-to. My style is a mix of uptown and downtown – think smart tailoring with trainers or relaxed joggers and a great shirt. When I’m busy, I plan my outfits on Sunday night for the entire week. It takes the stress out of early mornings.

9am

If I need to be in the edit by 10am, I’ll get in the car at 9am. I like to work on my laptop during the drive – I’d rather be sitting, replying to emails or signing off content. I’m a multitasker at heart. I’ll usually have music playing while I work. Olivia Dean is my current obsession (and has been for a while) but I might also put on Vybz Kartel depending on my mood.

10am

Editing suites aren’t glamorous. It’s usually just a sofa, screens and endless coffees. I’ll sit with the director, the editor and another exec to review notes on Wild Cherry. We’ll go through the final edit for one episode, and later I’ll head over to the sound mix – usually somewhere around Soho. That’s my favourite part. It’s where all the music, dialogue and sound come together.

1pm

Lunch is always from Farmer J. It’s become a running joke within the team: I never stray. I’ll grab another matcha and something hearty. If I have a lunch meeting, I might go to The Wolseley with my agent. It’s such a British institution, and yes, we might have a little champagne. Berners Tavern is another favourite for work lunches or Riding House Café for something more casual. If I ever snack, it’s usually a piece of fruit in the editing suite.

2pm

The editing process can take up to seven months. Wild Cherry has six episodes. It’s a small team – five of us including the sound engineer, composer and music supervisor. The sound mix can run all afternoon until 6pm or 7pm. We’ll go line by line, adjusting volume, cleaning up dialogue or switching up a song to make a scene hit harder. It completely transforms an episode and it’s one of my favourite parts of the creative process. Sometimes I’ll have a Zoom call around 5pm, either about the show or a new project, so I’ll head home to do that.

6pm

If I’m not at an event, I’ll probably be at dinner with friends. I eat out a lot – often at The DoverThe 22 or new spots around Shoreditch. I don’t really cook. For events, I’ll do a quick evening make-up: M·A·C ‘Cork’ lip liner,Dior gloss and a Charlotte Tilbury liquid blush. Then I’ll throw on some statement earrings from Missoma and a Celine leather jacket. My evening style is chic with a bit of edge, feminine but not fussy. When I’m home, I change straight into Alo loungewear – it’s perfect for stretching, a little Pilates or just curling up. I love my candles (Diptyque is a favourite) and there are no big lights on after 6pm.

8pm

I’ll often do some reading in the evening – either scripts I’ve been sent or books about wellness and acupuncture (I’m obsessed with acupressure). I love anything that helps me unwind. If I’m watching TV, it’s usually something like The Celebrity Traitors. And if I’m doing chores, I’ll put on a podcast like Rotten Mango or The Room Where It Happened.

12am

The earliest I ever sleep is midnight. I’ll wash my face with a Tatcha cleanser, apply my Synergie Skin night serum and moisturise again. Contacts out, glasses on. I keep my Lumie clock, candle and a little ring dish on my bedside table. Before bed, I always jot down everything I need to do tomorrow in my planner – just to clear my mind. Sometimes I’ll schedule-send emails to my PA for the morning. Then its candles out, matcha mug cleaned and hopefully, a good night’s sleep before it all starts again.
