Panzanella Salad

Jason’s Sourdough, the creators of the artisan sourdough sliced loaf, and family-fun Instagram Chef, Adam Shaw, have teamed up to create a refreshing and flavoursome Panzanella Salad, using brand new Jason’s The Great White loaf. The perfect recipe for a quick, light brunch with friends or served alongside grilled meats, fish or vegetables for a delicious dinner in the garden, summer has never tasted so good.
Total Time
10 Minutes
6 tomatoes, quartered
2 tbsp of capers
4 tbsp of olive oil
A handful of fresh basil
4 slices of Jason’s Sourdough The Great White
For the dressing:
2 shallots, thinly sliced
100ml of olive oil
50ml of red wine vinegar
A pinch of salt
Step 1

In a bowl, mix together the tomatoes, capers, basil and tablespoons of olive oil.

Step 2

Toast the slices of Jason’s Sourdough The Great White.

Step 3

Cut the toast into cubes and add to the bowl.

Step 4

In a separate bowl, mix the shallots, olive oil, red wine vinegar and salt.

Step 5

Pour over the salad and mix well.

Step 6

Serve straight away.
